Wouldn't be surprised if the other Championship team is Bolton.
I hope the 2 home games are against a decent or historic European club.

The one I'd heard for the home game was a decent European club but clearly hasn't been confirmed yet. The other, I've no idea as yet who it is.

That's good enough for me.
Hoping for Burton as the other championship club for a tick, and we do have a few links there, however I think it's Bolton.

Could the European club be Schalke, on the Tuesday? They're over to play Palace on the 5th

I fancy Ajax. I have no idea why.

Understand the Alfreton game, was half hoping a development squad visit here to Buxton, given our Nicky Law history.
Never get tired of looking at that iconic photo of our fans at Preston though.

I'll be doing Kidderminster I think. I saw us play at Alfreton in 2012.

The championship club has Bradford written all over it, just waiting for them to get promoted to announce.

You would think that other world clubs would want to bring us over to play them, now we are world famous!

Huddersfield would be a good shout, if they don't get past Reading in the play-off final.

Could be Forest. We have never had an easy game there in my memory though I'm sure I will be corrected if there were. :p

So will Sean be the only Premier League manager who gets his way and has a sensible pre season rather than playing loads of games half way around the world. Bodes well for a fast start to the season which we will definitely need.

He's certainly not in favour of playing games on the other side of the world, he sees no benefit in taking the players on long haul flights etc. Other managers do it because they are forced into it by their clubs.Chester Perry wrote:So will Sean be the only Premier League manager who gets his way and has a sensible pre season rather than playing loads of games half way around the world. Neither is he in favour of going anywhere too hot and sunny but I think that's because he's ginger.
