John Terry
John Terry
Listening to him on the pitch giving his farewell speech has made me throw up twice.

Guard of honour after 26 minutes of the match. What's that about?. It should be looked into.

I wasn't sure which was worse: Seeing John Terry or listening to Martin Tyler.

I didn't have time for a pie today, I was busy shagging in toilets, I actually missed the first five minutes of the second half.dermotdermot wrote:I are you sure that it wasn't one of those pies you ate at half time?

I didn't think it was a bad speech tbh.
I don't like the bloke, but that wasn't a bad way to say thank you and goodbye.

Re: John Terry
Apparently Sunderland were asked to play the ball out on the 26th minute so Terry could be subbed........ frighten thing is Sunderland agreed
Is this not match fixing?
I bet £1000k Terry is subbed in the 26th minute, I bet £1000 theres a throwing in the 26th minute etc etc.
Chelsea and Sunderland bringing the game into disrepute..... chuffing charade

An absolute joke that Sunderland agreed to this and it does raise the question of gambling if there were any bets on it.Barry_Chuckle wrote:Apparently Sunderland were asked to play the ball out on the 26th minute so Terry could be subbed........ frighten thing is Sunderland agreed![]()

Yeah, he's a real character and not one I'd like around my club in a million years...... all the other players would need to keep an eye on him around their wives. Not good for team spirit in my books!Saxoman wrote:You dream of having a player and character of that ability ever represent your shower.

Terry has had a phenomenal career and has been a terrific player, I don't think anyone is questioning that.

Re: John Terry
When did I mention any of that? One poster aside the discussion is mainly about the send off today, considering it was a bit of an oddity in the premier league it's very normal for premier league fans to discuss. Oh wait...now I realise why it doesn't interest you.Saxoman wrote:Who cares who he's had intimate relations with? Do you want to tell us about yours? Exactly. None of our fkin business!

Re: John Terry
Apparently JT requested he be allowed to replace himself on the 26th minute but the officials weren't having any of it.
Imagine trying to change the rules to suit your pathetic over-the-top send-off.

As for role model, if one of my kids could work hard enough to win everything at club level I'd be chuffed.
He's a grade A bellend, don't get me wrong, but he's worked hard to get where he is.

It would be a nice gesture if he gave some money to the piegate man at Sutton.
But this is Terry we're talking about.
Collusion between two professional football teams to make something happen at a certain time.
I do hope some bets were placed somewhere in the World. Nothing will happen.
Would love Joey to have got wind of it and put a tenner on.

Re: John Terry
So has he really retired or is Eddie going to sign him to play for the Zimmer merchants for £130/ week?
Re: John Terry
We had a Chelsea fan doing some work on our new kitchen 4 yrs ago this summer. He had done some work at JT's. JT wouldn't even give him his autograph. In his opinion JT was not a nice person but a good player. He said it was the only time he had worked for a footballer where the guy refused to engage in any banter about the game or his contribution to it.

Re: John Terry
Scumbag of the very highest order and should have been booted out of the game years ago. All the usual ar$e-lickers seem to have conveniently forgotten about this turds past and the "You F`king Black C**T" tirade at Anton Ferdinand. He gets a 4 match ban for being a racist and Joey gets 18 months for putting on bets, the FA have obviously got their heads up their arses! He`s been called out as a racist more than once.
And the rest of Terry`s past including $hagging a team mates wife.
Turns out it was all Terry`s idea the 26th minute and the guard of honour, Just like he donned his kit and stood with his team mates to receive a trophy which he never won and I bet he`s had his own winners medal made for that.
The guy must have no self awareness at all.
World class player my backside, anyone remember embarrassing Euro`s and world cups in which he was left looking like a carthorse?

Did Paul Scholes and Roy Keane win the champions league in 99 or not?

Re: John Terry
Im questioning points in your post. You say he never won the champions league because he didn't play the final. Keane and Scholes are champions league winners yet they never played in the 99 final. You say he should have been booted out of the game. So what are you're thoughts on Barton and his antics?

Well seeing as he was banned/suspended at the time he obviously didn`t play so no, he didn`t win the Champions League & made himself look like the dickhead he is by doing what he did.Dyched wrote:Im questioning points in your post. Barton & his antics? Christ on a bike are you for real?
Of course he had to be banned, he broke league rules, nothing so illegal as being a downright racist but rules are rules but 18 months is a complete and utter joke when you consider what Terry received and how he`s perceived by the sycophantic, commentators and pundits who fall over themselves to heap every accolade on him every chance they get, it`s stomach-churning.
