Oumar Niasse
Oumar Niasse
We are being linked with the out of favour Everton forward in today's papers. He did nothing at Everton but looked ok when out on loan at Hull this season

I thought he was exceedingly average.

Sounds like there could be some truth in this thenCirrus_Minor wrote:I thought he was exceedingly average.

Re: Oumar Niasse
4 goals in 17 games, he cost Everton more than we paid for Gray, something like £13 million.
I'd rather keep the lads we've got.

Just the kind of player I don't want. Had a chance not proved anything and huge fees and wages.

Re: Oumar Niasse
A more mobile version of Sam Vokes. I think he would defiantly be an improvement on what we have.
Re: Oumar Niasse
Reading his career albeit on Wiki, I doubt he would pass the SD psychometric analysis to get into the club.

I'm willing to stick my neck on the line and say that this lad can exceed Juke's goalscoring record at Premier League level.

Re: Oumar Niasse
If there's any truth in this I'm sure Dyche has done his research. The lad didn't really get chance at Everton (can't blame them, they have Lukaku) but he did pretty well at Hull. He's mobile and powerful. A couple of his goals for Hull were tidy finishes. If the money is right then so be it.

Re: Oumar Niasse
If Dyche has identified him as someone he wants, why would you just want to stick with what we've got? We need a striker.Sidney1st wrote:4 goals in 17 games, he cost Everton more than we paid for Gray, something like £13 million.

Would be good when Dyche fit
Re: Oumar Niasse
Heaton, Keen, Mee, Arfield didn't set the world on fire before they came to us and look at them now.
Niasse has the qualities and if SD can do the same with him then worth a punt.

Last night, I dreamed that Juke got a hatrick for us. Not joking.IndigoLake wrote:I'm willing to stick my neck on the line and say that this lad can exceed Juke's goalscoring record at Premier League level.
EDIT: And they were good goals. All of them towards the end I was in.

At least when you woke up you wouldn't have had to pinch yourself, no doubt whatsoever it was a dream.Quicknick wrote:Last night, I dreamed that Juke got a hatrick for us. Not joking.

Re: Oumar Niasse
I had a dream (a few years ago) that I provided Faustino Asprilla (why him I do not know) with a sensational assist in a cup final. I still think my dream is more likely to happen in real lifeQuicknick wrote:Last night, I dreamed that Juke got a hatrick for us. Not joking.

Re: Oumar Niasse
Would be happy with this but would prefer a season loan with view to permanent rather than get lumbered with him if he is more Everton form than Hull for us.
Re: Oumar Niasse
Would take him on loan with a option to buy. Not long ago before he went to Hull there was Everton fans insisting that he wasn't an actual football player then he did OK at hull.
One I think we should look at is Carlos Vela at Real Sociedad, not sure about his wages though or indeed ours.

LA Galaxy were said to be looking at Vela earlier this month, but were put off by the 9 million dollar price tag.Zesty wrote:

Would be one I'd take, though.

Re: Oumar Niasse
We could certainly do worse than Niasse but I for one am hoping for better.

I really hope SD reads this thread and reconsiders his interest.

Re: Oumar Niasse
If SD reads this thread he'll probably take the Palace job.

Re: Oumar Niasse
My main concern with this is that it's been said he'll be coming as a replacement for Gray who will be going the other way. I think he'd be okay alongside Gray bot not instead of.
