If SD is here next week saying Burnley is his club, fine.

Yes I think that might be the case but at least recruitment can go ahead, without a manager you're sunk.

People want him sacked, kicked along and ultimatums given...

It never rains but it pours on here.

Nice to see the usual knob heads in full flow again.

on the contrary, some of us knob heads as you so eloquently put it, are a little bit more spirited and unwilling to be docile herd creatures...no offence pal, no offence.

No offence taken.

I don't associate myself as a herd creature either.

Some people just desperately want Dyche to leave because they want the drama.

Nothing to do with drama Sidney dear, just what is best for the club.
If SD stays fine, if he goes I'm hoping for a change of outlook.

Recruitment?
The process of identifying and even approaching transfer targets can carry on. May be more difficult to get players signed if they are unsure who the manager will be.
Equally, uncertainty within the current squad (I admit there may be none of it) could lead players to take offers from elsewhere.

Let's face it, the sooner this conjecture is put to bed the better. they'll be back training soon!

How on earth could the club make a statement ? Would you expect your boss to make a statement saying there was no way you were going to leave to take up another job or might you think "I'll be the one to decide that thanks very much" and wait and see what transpired , how much money was on offer etc Totally unrealistic to expect the club to say anything about speculation....for one thing they just risk making themselves look like fools if contrary events subsequently occur.

Christ almighty.

So Crystal Palace have ruined our season by not approaching the club and not asking to speak to our manager.

I think we should be reporting them to the FA.

Of course I don't.

I don't remember sitting there in the JMU watching City smash us in the pouring down rain and he vanished at half time.
It was so wet and horrible that the ball couldn't bounce on some parts of the pitch.

My seat during that season was near the top of on of the O's , I'll have to check my old ST to confirm the seat.

I'm sure you'll have many more memories of watching him live at TM

Come on Mr Dyche lets be hearing from you.
Can you take this club to the next level and enhance your reputation further?
Can you leave fans like these who accept anything you do?

Uncertainty is the mother of revolution, and you are the epitome of strong and stable.

So which is it to be.

Evolution or Revolution.

Pellegrino is favourite for both the Southampton & Palace job.

Can't believe he hasn't come out and made a statement saying which one he prefers, how can either club trust him when he won't commit publicly to a job he hasn't been offered.

I can't believe how many Clarets are giving the Club and SD plenty on this thread. At this stage it is nothing to do with both parties. Palace are the ones at fault here! I still pinch myself everyday at how far the Board and Manager have taken us over the last few years.

I'm not sure anyone is at fault. Palace are looking for a new manager and from what I've seen, they've not done anything wrong.

Depends by what standards you judge that noboby has done anything wrong? In today's world managers and players are sounded out through their agents first, is that wrong?

It seems clear from the reports that Dyche when he was approached by Palace through his agent expressed an interest,is that wrong? However it now looks like this has come to nothing and he will be staying at Burnley.

I see your point Northeast. What I don't get is the interest is close to a Month old now. Still no approach?? CP want the right man but 4 weeks is poor in my book. Get on with it or Nob off!

I think Dyche has moved on as Palace seem to only want Dyche as back up if they don't get their other target(s).

Hopefully they would not be able to interest Dyche again, as they seem to have handled this process very badly.
