In betting terms or as a player to sign? I'd be pleased to sign him, he's a good player. Perhaps a few injury concerns but he certainly knows where the net is.

A player to sign,if the Everton interest in Andre is genuine.

HITC have linked us with a move for the Forest striker.
Would be a very good signing in my eyes!

HITC are as hit and miss as most of the others...

Very good player...if he stays fit. That might be the issue.

But he has all the right attributes and a decent record when he has played. Also been with Dyche at Watford. Would be a good option as a 4th striker in my opinion.

HITC covered the Joey Barton ban - they did so by asking Sunderland fans what they thought about it. Joey is probably the most hated player among Sunderland fans. This one seems to be making an article out of some bookies odds. Not saying there is nothing in Assombolonga to Burnley, but HITC are one I take precious little notice of.

I hope we don't sign him, nothing against him and he is a talent but come on the poor sods who sit near Rocky will get drenched when he shouts his name.

Surely Dan Ageyi or Rouven are our back up strikers.
Dan showed last season he is a least worth a new deal and a place on the bench.
I believe he'd be a far better option than Nakki Wells

I don't get the sentimentality people seem to have with regards to Agyei. From what I saw he looked miles off the pace of being a premier league striker. I'm not saying he won't be an asset in the future, by all accounts he did ok at Coventry, but I think the immediate jump from league 1 to premier league is too much at this stage of his career.
Very few youngsters actually come through the ranks to command a first team place in the premier league and I think we should be looking to loan him out to a championship side to pick up that valuable experience. We should be using our big pot of money to go out and get a proven goal scorer of at least of championship standard.

Agyei is definitely equipped with the raw tools to develop into a very good player but not as a regular by some margin at the minute. All due respect but why should we target Championship standard when we're in the Premier League.

Unless you mean like Hendrick and they're capable of making the leap in level?

A better player than wells, would probably fit in at burnley too. we have not much option when it comes to signing players because premiership cast offs are too expensive,i personally would like to see andre stay, there are few strikers as good as him available up for grabs so lets try and stick hold of him if possible.

That's what I'm alluding to, needs to have proven they can notch on a regular basis at least at championship level with the qualities required to make the step up. We have the cash so should be able to get clubs to part with their prized assets.
I'd be interested to see if our new European scouting set up will bear fruit soon, as surely we can attract quality players with the carrot of Premier league money and the global exposure

Butterworth said he has plenty of contacts around Europe so you'd hope he will turn out to be a good appointment

I agree claretfelix, European players would be tempted even to a small club like us because of the money and to get themselves noticed on the big stage, but lets hope we have learned a bit from our mistakes IE: Defour. Hemmings ect. There is a lot of talent out there but choose wisely Mr Dyche.!!!

When you refer to Defour as being a mistake, I do hope you're referring to benching him

Will be good for the club financially , as it would cost a small fortune to have his name on the back of your shirt ;-)
Unless you put his first name on :-) .Mind you , some people would call you xenophobic :-)

Who is HITC though? Their FB page says they were formed in 2012, yet they advertised with the SJA in 2015 for sports journalists and said they had been around for about 12 years....... are they local to England (surely not the Hughes Corporation)

I honestly think Rouen could play as the link player as forward midfield in a 3412 but it ain't gonna happen
