Hero.

Shame the government he serves literally cheered when they defeated a bill to give him a payrise remotely in line with inflation.

Why do so many people attempt to politicize every single thread? Why not start a new one with a clear subject header decrying the decision last night. Then, whether people agreed with it or not, they would have the choice to view and contribute or not.

What an incredibly brave man.

Deserves a medal v brave. The pay rise issue concerns an entire public sector not one individual's bravery. Post above about politicising every thread is correct.

He and "I'm Millwall" deserve at least a George Medal along with the doctor who attended to the injured in the middle of all that mayhem. Without them the death toll would most probably have been higher.

Give him his due, he deserves any award heading his way for what he did.
