Mind you. The keepers kit Marlon Beresford wore was like an explosion in a paint factory!

Beresford's acid groove gear.

Their away one is pink with blue sleeves.

It's bad enough but to then pinkify the club badge to blend in is a bit of an insult to the club's heritage

Love that Wycombe GK top. Proper 90's.

Beresford's rainbow kit was brilliant.

The best bit is the oversize gloves, maybe it's from Plane of the Apes, they've finally learnt how to play football :)

I'd be interested to see how the pattern would hold up on a, lets say, fuller-figured goalkeeper. A Paddy Kenny or a Wayne Shaw if you will.

That's were the designers will have really earned their money.

Given that goalkeepers tend to be quite particular about their kits I reckon he's had an input into this, and wants to it to be loud and vibrant. Nobody's going to miss him coming off the line, and just think how distracting it would be for opposing striker taking a PK.

I had the rainbow Beresford shirt when I played 6 a side at the Turf back in the mid 90s. I wore it out and at the end of the following season I cheekily asked him if I could have his shirt (the explosion in the paint factory one) which he kindly gave me complete with Football League arm badges back in the day when you couldn't buy these. I still have the shirt in a drawer at home.

TV companies/authorities won't allow this in the top flight - imagine how the ultra HD cameras would react to that

Heard them talking about this on the radio, apparently it's been designed to look like a target so that the striker subconsciously aims towards it. It's also meant to make the goalkeeper look bigger.
