Rowls, Rowls, Rowls. The police will be after you of all people for that one.Rowls wrote:This is going to be very novel for a Rovers fan but perhaps are manager and board work together?

Walters, Vokes and Barnes . I think we do need 2 more new strikers. It's a long season with injuries/suspensions a possibility.taio wrote:I don't think we'll sign two strikers either, as we don't need two.
We've got as many Goalkeepers as Strikers.karatekid wrote:Walters, Vokes and Barnes . I think we do need 2 more new strikers.
Disagree. One more should be plenty with Agyei as additional cover. If we get to January and we're short we can make further plans. Two for every position is realisitc.karatekid wrote:Walters, Vokes and Barnes . I think we do need 2 more new strikers. It's a long season with injuries/suspensions a possibility.
He hasn't been prolific in league one and you think a championship side would want him?gandhisflipflop wrote:What is the obsession with agyei? Is it purely because of his build? Because he hasn't even been prolific in league one yet. I think he should be loaned to the championship
Walters, Agyei, Vokes and Barnes.....so no we haven`t.Right_winger wrote:We've got as many Goalkeepers as Strikers.
Good point perhaps we could loan him to the less fortunate up the road to get a good grounding in league one.Saxoman wrote:He hasn't been prolific in league one and you think a championship side would want him?
How prolific was Tammy Abraham in the PL prior to joining Bizzle ?Saxoman wrote:He hasn't been prolific in league one and you think a championship side would want him?
Bristol don't play in the premier league.Vegas Claret wrote:How prolific was Tammy Abraham in the PL prior to joining Bizzle ?
So we are counting Walters as a striker now? Though he was meant to be Boyds replacement or haven't we got him in yet? Agyei really?TVC15 wrote:Walters, Agyei, Vokes and Barnes.....so no we haven`t.
Plus we will be signing another striker.
Gray wanted to leave...what exactly do you think the club should have done when he refused to sign the contract.
Walters can obviously play both. Agyei will probably end up 5th choice.Right_winger wrote:So we are counting Walters as a striker now? Though he was meant to be Boyds replacement or haven't we got him in yet? Agyei really?
See it's easy to spin a yarn which ever way you like to suit your own agenda isn't it?
Regarding Gray, it's been poorly executed. We should either have sold him earlier on or kept a hold of him until we signed a replacement like other clubs do. we've zero options now to change anything should plan sit back and hoof-ball to Vokes not work.
If Grays replacement, God forbid, got injured and had to miss 6 or 7 games would you be confident of the remaining strikers being good enough to score the necessary goals?taio wrote:Disagree. Certainly not.karatekid wrote:If Grays replacement, God forbid, got injured and had to miss 6 or 7 games would you be confident of the remaining strikers being good enough to score the necessary goals?
Ker-ching!KRBFC wrote:We need 2 srrikers, winger and a centre half. Currently we have made profit, simply not good enough at all.

I think hes on about the potential players were signing and also our current status retaining our place in the premier leagueablueclaret wrote:Lose Keane and Gray and we've never had it so good?
And you just know that IF we were to sign these players that they would more than likely come from the championship or be unwanted at a botttom half premier league club.KRBFC wrote:We need 2 srrikers, winger and a centre half. Currently we have made profit, simply not good enough at all.
Only Ings and Bony for me. The others are pantsDewhurst1882 wrote:Personally I'd go for 2 of these: Ings, Long, Bony, Kodjia or Niasse.
Seriously - you think Walters is Boyd`s replacement ? Do you not watch much football ?Right_winger wrote:So we are counting Walters as a striker now? Though he was meant to be Boyds replacement or haven't we got him in yet? Agyei really?

Most of us do have faith in Dyche.Reecey1987 wrote:Daz bentley says we should have faith in dyche by now we have never had it so good and to keep the faith
haha.you reckon 30 million profit in this division is good business ? ones off at everton, hes an england player too, the other is our key striker, sold a whisker away from the opening game.TVC15 wrote:Seriously - you think Walters is Boyd`s replacement ? Do you not watch much football ?
Not convinced Gray was going to start this Saturday.
I`m sure none of us think the timing is great...but do you honestly think Dyche and the Board think its ideal either ? Rather than think they have f-ucked up why would you not think it was out of their control ?
This is not a case of me thinking the Board or Dyche can do no wrong - they have both made mistakes or to put a positive slant on it they are both developing / learning.
Take a step back and think about what the Board & Dyche have done with Keane and Gray....best part of £30m profit and both players an integral part of getting us promotion and keeping us in the Premier League which will earn the club more money in 2 or 3 years than we have earned in the previous 100 years out together.
These are "first world problems" as they say. If our biggest problem is how we are going to spend £100m on players in the next couple of years then yeh you have a big cry about it.

Signed a replacement - using the liquid cash at bank we have from the Keane deal - and then allowed him to leave. Same thing most clubs do.Stalbansclaret wrote:What would you have done given that Gray clearly wanted to go ? .
