Well thats a bit **** as my nephew and niece who dont have a season ticket want to come so I will have to wait until Monday to get all of them so they can sit with us on the coach.claretburns wrote:Only on sale for season tickets holders to begin with and then general sale on Monday morning.
Also you get assigned a coach number when buying the ticket as if you miss the coach you won't be allowed onto another.

Anyone know if you can get on any coach and / or whether tickets are season ticket holders only first?
8 of us will be going together but only 4 of us are season ticket holders. Ideally would like to travel on the same coach and sit near each other at the game.

The Clarets have been allocated 5,000 tickets for the game, but the first 3,000 will be sold in the lower tier of the Darwen End, and only once those are sold will upper tier tickets be released for sale.
Season ticket holders with 3,000 loyalty points can buy their tickets online from 5pm tonight or from 9.15am tomorrow at the ticket office.
All season ticket holders will be able to buy a ticket from 9.15am on Thursday and general sale will take place from 9.15am on Monday.
All ticket must be collected from Turf Moor ticket collection point on Harry Potts Way.
Which I am going to struggle with as a non - ST holder who works Monday to Friday

Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
Its the coach arrangements which are the biggest issue.
Basically my nephew and niece, both under 10 neither being a season ticket holder want to come. But It means I need to wait until next week to get them and chance not getting one myself. OR at very least end up stuck in top tier when I would rather go in bottom.
Anyway is what it is. No point moaning about it. Will never change as nobody wants it to enough!

I asked earlier today and there is the normal allocation of tickets available for the Foundation on sale from tomorrow. Fortunately it's 3000 points instead of the normal 5000 so I don't need the option this time.Barry_Chuckle wrote:My son is in the RAF hence no ST so again we'll not be able to sit together either. The fantastic Ticketing System strikes again:
Can anyone put that into words that actually make sense? To me it reads that I must buy a Rovers v Burnley ticket before I can buy a Rovers v Burnley ticket?

I think it refers to needing a ST for the person the ticket is allocated to.IAmAClaret wrote:The fantastic Ticketing System strikes again:

Yes, I thought it may be something like that, but I have a season ticket, and 6800 points. I'm trying to use the 'friends and family' (for someone with enough points etc) - maybe that is the issue? (Even though it shouldn't be).

General Sale: Monday, August 21 at 9.15am online and in person at the ticket office. (Note: all supporters must have an existing Clarets number).
You can get as many as you want when on general sale, as long as purchased on claret numbers - ie if you want 5 tickets, you need 5 numbers

Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
I got that yellow message and realised that it immediately allocates all the tickets to one customer number. I changed them to others in friends and family, updated my basket and it worked perfectly.IAmAClaret wrote:Yes, I thought it may be something like that, but I have a season ticket, and 6800 points. Have to say the wording is strange though.

Sounds about right for Burnley. Seem to recall same thing happening with the Charlton game where we won the league.

You could try Central Lancs Clarets.SloughClarets wrote:Any Supporters coaches going from the Blackpool area ?
Really struggling with this. Working in the morning (Down South)travelling up to Blackpool for a stag do on the Wednesday and would need to check in to B&B but then never going to make it across to Burnley in time. Also getting back to Blackpool afterwards would be tight as will be on the train.
Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
Can anyone help. There should be an option for 18 concession but only over 65. Do you think I should use the over 65 for my son. I'm guessing they missed off the 18 to 25 bit.

The last time we played them we sold out very late - remember there were tickets left until a day or so before the game. That was a league game at the weekend ...... With it being a midweek game with the travel arrangements stopping some people from getting back in time then I'm pretty sure that tickets will end up on general sale.Big_Ears_BFC wrote:If we sell out it will be last minute Imo. Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
Not even sure that we sold out last time. Can see there being a bit of an early rush for tickets with people trying to avoid being in upper tier.

Have the club fallen out with Royal Mail or something? Not allowing them to be sent by post, not allowing people to collect them within 2 hours of kick off on Saturday, and not allowing tickets to be collected on Wednesday before the buses go is disgusting as it makes it impossible for people who don't live in Burnley to get their tickets. The club are really not helping matters and fans with stupid, old fashioned policies like these. I'd be surprised if we sell much over a thousand as it's just virtually impossible to get the tickets in your hand. It's beyond stupid.
Also they advertise that 18-21 tickets are available for £10 but there isn't any option to buy these? You really couldn't make this up. Seems like the ticket office is incompetent as always.

You'll need all the clarets numbers for the season tickets which you are using to buy the tickets - 1 season ticket/clarets number per ticket for the game.

Couldn't agree more with how difficult this now is for a non season ticket holder, travelling fan. Assuming I could purchase Minday I now find I can't travel and pick them up on match day. Incredibly disappointing, mostly for my son who hasn't had the pleasure of an Ewood trip.thelaughingclaret wrote:Have the club fallen out with Royal Mail or something? Can you not collect them on Wednesday before the game? Looking at this I read into it that you can?

Not allowing them to be sent by post - should they be lost in the post, Blackburn Rovers will not re-print the tickets as some other clubs will.
not allowing people to collect them within 2 hours of kick off on Saturday - I suppose that's similar to them not selling season tickets during those hours in Feb/Mar. I suspect the ticket office and collection point are too busy dealing with match day tickets and collections.
not allowing tickets to be collected on Wednesday before the buses go - I didn't think that was the case. I thought you could collect your tickets ahead of the travel but, if you can, I presume it will be busy.

Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
Perhaps it's just misleading but it does say that the dedicated window is open only until 7pm on the Tuesday. If I am fortunate enough to get hold of tickets in Monday perhaps I can get them from the ticket office on Wednesday. I am after all, because of these arrangements, having to take time off work on Wednesday, travelling to get tickets and then a bus followed by a bus before I can travel home. All after I have made the same journey on the Saturday for WBA.
Re: 2017/18: Blackburn Rovers v Burnley – Ticket Information
Does the ticket office not open after the match on Saturday? Seems that would be a good chance for many to collect.

I'd mis-read the info re: picking up tickets ahead of the game next Wednesday but the club have made two changes today.
1. Tickets can now be collected up to 6 p.m. after the game on Saturday.
2. Tickets can now be collected up to 4 p.m. on the day of the game.
