No, my mate went down armed with 12 season tickets and collected them all - I can only assume he was allocated Upper Tier rather than requested them.

This game is going to sell out. Well one end is anyway. Will they give us more once we shift the 5k? Doesn't it hold over 7000 in that end? I know front and sides are segregated but surely the top won't be?

Strange definitely said in accordance with BRFC policy that we must sell bottom tier out before top tier released, soveither bottom tier gone, or mischief afoot.

Can't fit enough buses in for 7k mate.
Obviously could find a way with parking some elsewhere.
With segregation etc and extra policing for buses at another location it's too muck bother.
General concensous was we wouldn't shift 5k for early round League Cup so I don't think they'd even have considered it.
In a bigger Cup game or League game if the home ends were full they want segregation and all resources at the ground.

We only had 2,000 in the lower tier 2 years ago because of all the netting ( sides & front) top tier holds 3,000,That's your 5,000 + corporate.

from the Burnley website:
'...Burnley have been allocated 5,000 tickets for this game and these will be sold in-line with the sales policy of the host club.
The first 3,000 tickets will be sold in the lower tier of the Darwen End. Only once these are sold, will upper tier tickets be released for sale...'

If selling upper tier we have sold 3000. Only gone on sale to st holders today. The swelling numbers will convince the Inbetweeners to get on with it.

So that was you... odds as you say
I'm not a morning person and was thinking oh please don't let this happy chappy talk to me.
After dinner I do lighten up and when beer fueIed I have been known to smile.
I got the jist of your story Christmas not birthday and Christmas not life.
I'm a tad autistic and was counting the people in the queue speculating how many they were buying totting up then timing how long it took to get served so how long it'd take me, I was bothered for those queuing to collect when they should have been at the bob lord window it was all a statistical quest for me and you interrupted, if I looked miffed.
I'll look out for you pal, we'll have beer

Could be to sort out the tickets already bought online and to be sure whats left - maybe they dedicated x amount of tickets online and x amount at ticket office as to not sell same ticket twice.

Thanks claretblue,
The irony is I have enough points but no ST anymore as I no longer live close enough to go to all the home games. I'd rather not put my phone number up, I'm sure you'll understand, thanks again if you can help.

Seems if you live in Burnley or the local area, regardless of loyalty points, you have more priority than those who don't.

nothing is perfect, cant blame the club - they've done well to organise what they have at short notice and lay on the transport. I have 3570 loyalty points, but I couldn't get any tickets because I'm no longer a ST holder, and I understand why.
So, if anyone else could help a fellow claret with a adult and under 18 ticket I'd appreciate it, thanks

Not saying the system isn't flawed but they went on sale to STH yesterday with no point restrictions yesterday.
There was still opportunity for any STH from outside the area that wanted a ticket to get one

Getting more giddy the closer this game gets and must be the same for a lot of people.
I just hope we sen out pretty much 1st team and play them off the park - get that 5-0 wiped off the slate and take the absolute Michael.

So the fact they've been onsale to ST holders online and via telephone etc for past few days means people in Burnley have an advantage?
Anybody eligible to get a ticket has had the same opportunities to sort their ticket up until now...... There are even local people who have ot their tickets online rather than going down to ticket ofice - which anybody in the world who is eligible could have done.

Hopefully you get sorted mate - already people popping up offering over face value for tickets locally though for this game.
