We have to plan to stay in this league and plan that if we fail we are stocked to get promoted again fairly soon

I wonder how many of Nahkis knockers would have the knackers to tell Dyche to his face that he's ballsed up.

Different to what we have, adds some pace and a steal at £5m in todays market. Welcome to the Turf Nakhi.

For God's sake give the guy a break..
Its not the Burnley way to be like this...see what tbe guy can do for us before you start pulling him to pieces.

idiotic comments about him, really poor. I think he'll be one to prove the critics wrong, and quite soon too.

Re: Knickers to Nakhi's knockers
It is mystifying how new signings are continually questioned by supporters. Surely we should know our capabilities in the transfer market and that we have to focus on the best that "Poundland" can offer. It has been and always will be the case for the Clarets.
In the last few years the Club has made remarkable progress with this prudent approach and quite rightly this ethos should continue. Us supporters who enjoyed the success of the 60's and 70's will not want to revisit the subsequent problem years.
Respect should be given to continued diligence of the Board in their financial control, and more importantly, who is a position to question the capabilities of Dyche to recruit and develop those players he has chosen to puchase within the Club's budget ?

Let's hope we are not caught with our pants down around our ankles should any of our key central defenders pick up a long term injury.

It's the way of the keyboard warrior, they sit there slagging off all and sundry because they know everything about anything and probably never go to a game. The Enclosure wrote:For God's sake give the guy a break..

It's the only way to go.

I can't help but wonder Y front man Nakhi Wells is being accused of being pants. I think we should let him string a few appearances together instead of saying he'll come up short when he's not even had a chance.
Re: Knickers to Nakhi's knockers
Hes decent for 5 mill without doubt.
Didnt brighton pay nearly that 12 month ago for that Lump from Blackburn.

Re: Knickers to Nakhi's knockers
The point is, give the kid a chance and I for one am willing to go with SD's ability to get the very best out of a seemingly average player! He's proven he can achieve this on many occasions.joey13 wrote:We weren't in the Premier League though , thought we'd moved on .
Re: Knickers to Nakhi's knockers
For what it's worth my mate is a Huddersfield fan and he's disappointed Wells has left , he's also hard to please like me , so Wells can't be that bad.LowtonClaret wrote:The point is, give the kid a chance and I for one am willing to go with SD's ability to get the very best out of a seemingly average player! Joey 13, I read Udders message board yesterday after it was linked on here. It's quite an encouraging read regarding Wells.

Re: Knickers to Nakhi's knockers
I'm sick of the moaning about virtually every signing we make. It's possible that SD and his merry men will get Nakhi fitter than he's ever been and as a result will be a useful player for us.
How many of the 1st team were either meh signings or written off before they'd even played a game for us. Heaton - just let in a shed load of goals for a relegated team. Others? Lowton, Mee etc. Jeez, this the best Burnley side in 40 yrs. 3 up at Chelsea on the opening day. If we haven't signed another CB then presumably SD has a plan. I'll be supporting the team whatever happens All of them.
