For #48...

Apostrophes are special characters in mysql language and are used to pass details such as a username backwards and forwards in order to see if you're allowed to post. Having these in your username effectively ends your username at "john" when it's trying to post, which wont match whats in the database, so the page will have a hissy-fit!

People not indicating at roundabouts. You give way to them only for them to f*** off into their first exit meaning you could have just carried on across the roundabout without stopping. The most frustrating thing is, they usually have absolutely no idea of the inconvenience they've caused you. It hasn't even entered their head.

Another for people who can't be arsed using indicators.
People (usually nissan micra, honda jazz drivers) who will happily sit at 40mph in a 60 zone, then stay at 40 when they enter a 30 zone.

Phrases used by the younger generation when speaking to me (late 50's)
3 examples;
1/. Yesterday I was on the phone complaining to our mobile phone company.
"It's not a problem mate".
I shot him down straight away, by raising my voice and saying,
"Actually it is a problem to me AND that's why I am ringing you about it!"
2/. Being called "mate" by somebody in customer services or in a position of authority.
A young (28 yr old?) policeman knocked at the door last week wanting to get a statement from my son.
"Is your son in mate?" To which I replied "No sorry mate he's not, you'll have to ring him".
3/. A year ago, my 35 year old nephew spoke to me using my first name. "Oy" I said. "It's Uncle (firstname) to you.

I would normally have called the policeman officer.
What happened to the days when if you knew somebody's surname
you referred to them as Mr X or Mrs Y or if you didn't then you said Sir or Madam?

Manners maketh man.

Lazy b*tches too lazy to get dressed and go out in their pyjamas. Show some self respect and standards to your children! When I was a kid I'd pop around my Grandparents at 6am. Grandad was already shaved and dressed in a shirt and tie. Not that I advocate everyone should be dressed to the nines at 6am but be dressed when you go out. It shows self discipline and only makes you look like what you are. Lacking self discipline and standards. I get dressed quite literally as soon as I get up. Be ready for the day and ready for anything.

- People who park in the 'drop off' 'pick up' area of the supermarket and do a full shop.
- People who park in the parent toddler section without kids (or with teenage kids)
- When I purposefully park in a quiet area with no other cars on a supermarket carpark and return to find some bellend has parked 2 inches away from my drivers door.
- People who clog up aisles in groups having a conversation and then look pizzed off when I say 'excuse me can I just....'
- People who lean on the trolley and push it around the supermarket with their elbows in slow motion
- Supermarkets that don't have a beer already cooled in a fridge
- People who don't take their trolley back to trolley area
- Self serve checkouts - especially when buying beer

I don't do a big shop vey often but all of these were noted the other day in Tescos

My wife works on the checkouts at Tesco and these are some of her pet hates. I know this because she tells me almost every day when she gets home from work:

People who stand at the check out talking on their mobile phone while the check out operator is expected to pack up all of the shopping.
People who speak to her (usually teachers or teaching assistants in her experience) as if she is some sort of second class citizen only put on this earth to serve
People who have obviously changed the price tag on items to try to get them cheaper
People who rummage around in their purse for the exact change
People who turn up in pyjamas.

If I have missed anything I am sure she will remind me today

Years ago I had a supervisor in Swindon who said things like that. I was working with an Indian lad and the supervisor walked over and said 'I'm going to be pacific' to which I replied 'Can he be the Indian and I'll be the Atlantic?' He claimed I had a bad attitude after that.

Kids who say 'how am I supposed to know that? it was from before I was born'

It's called 'knowledge' you excuse making twonks.

Just had another one.

Those drivers at Tesco Express that won't use the "opposite" pump when filling with fuel and sit there waiting for the right one to be free - usually occupied by somebody who who's in there wandering around with a basket doing a "big shop" - blocking the entrance so nobody else can use it

People who post 'pray for .....' at every opportunity.

People who post YouTube reaction videos. I saw one about 9-11 I kid you not!

Attention seekers....this falls into the top two though.

Snowflakes.

Liberals.

People who play the victim card and never take any responsibility.

The dirty beggars who pick up their dog poo, put it in their little plastic bags and then hang it from a handy tree, stick it in a wall or just leave it at the side of the lane. No excuse, just don't do it!!

I'm willing to bet that most of the posts on here that have turned into a bit of a rant have been written by Brexit voters.

Cold calling.

"Hi, I'm from safestyle and we're fitting new windows and doors in your area and I was wondering if you were thinking of getting some new windows or doors?... when do you think you will want some new windows or doors? Well how about if we could send someone round to give you a free quote anyway?..... Oh sorry I didn't realise you were in the middle of having your tea, what time would you like us to come back?..... Oh well if you can't do today we can come round tomorrow, what time can I schedule you in?.... But It's a free no obligation quote..... We even do a scrappage scheme where we... but all your neighbours... look, I'll be honest with you, I only get paid if someone comes round to give you the quote. Could you not just let us give you a quote please mate?...Great! now all I need is your name, address, telephone number, additional contact number, email address, penis length and girth, card number, Pin and sort code and we're all set to bother you for the rest of your life with a relentless barrage of cold calls from every imaginable angle"

Passengers on buses who insist on standing in the aisle, even when there is plenty of seats available, and then are affronted when you politely ask them to excuse you to let people disembark. :x

Speaking on phones
Reading text/ emails/ social media on phones
Typing text/ emails/ social media on phones
Women applying make up
(Men applying make up would also make the list but I haven't yet witnessed this)
Rummaging around for stuff on the passenger seat/ in the footwell/ on the back seat
Unwrapping food
Eating cereal (yes, really)
