score prediction v liverpool

Post by Wile E Coyote » Mon Sep 11, 2017 12:10 pm

after their embarrassing and thoroughly deserved hammering by city, I suspect they will be like a tightly coiled spring and eager to make amends quickly.
Allied to the fact we played like the gasworks gang from the Beano on Sunday, I cannot see anything but a defeat for us on Saturday unfortunately.

4-0 liverpool sadly.

Liverpool are in free fall. All the pressure on them. Still I'll be realistic with this one........ 3-1 to the mighty Clarets. Goals courtesy of Vokes, Mee and D4 8-)

Hopefully moving back to 4-5-1 and if Pope has a good game, I think we can nick a point.

If Alexander-Arnold is playing then we should target him, he was exposed time and again on Saturday. They're expected to win but then so were Chelsea. 2-2.

I'd take a draw, just imagine getting 5 points away at Chelsea Spurs and Liverpool, when most of us would have us down for none...we have come a long way under Dyche long may it continue.

I don't really think we have anyone who could do that specific job.
I'm hoping we can manage a draw.

Liverpool 1 - 2 Burnley
10/1 paddy power.
Mane is suspended so their most lethal goal threat is missing and their defence is suspect. If we can keep it tight at the back and I think we're capable of scoring a couple.

4-0 Liverpool and a crash back to reality for us.

(Which is exactly what I wrote before spurs game, minus Liverpool).

Fingers crossed for the same result ;)

If we play 4-5-1 we may have a sniff of sneaking something. If we play 4-4-2 we will get pumped like we did most of last season away from home and Should have been last Sunday.

Would back us to score. The question is can we stop them doing likewise, they have an impressive array of attacking options. Hopefully they're still be feeling the effects of Wednesday. No Mane but sounds like Coutinho could be back. Draw would be a fantasic result - 1-1, Wood three in three maybe?

We sometimes struggle against teams below us in the league, but I still think we'll nick a winner as they push for a late goal. Liverpool 1 - 2 Burnley. Wood and D4 scoring for The Clarets!

The thing is boatshed, he wasn't being skinned for pace. He just looked very uncomfortable with those diagonal passes in behind him on the flank. Something we utilised well against Chelsea in particular. Think Ward could exploit that on the overlap.

All about the performance for me.
I'd take a defeat, if we can get back to playing as we did in the first 3 games. A good performance would set us up nicely for Huddersfield.
A result would be a real bonus.

I think we could get a result today. As big Sam Vokes says we've nothing to fear. I just hope Nick Pope has a good game.
I'm going for 2-0 Burnley.
