Hi Darthlaw
I use the NVIDIA Shield but have had lots of buffering so far this season, often to the point of it literally freezing. I am still on non-fibre broadband so assume it is my connection slowing down because of the IP and Sky throttling at peak football times that is causing the issues. It was virtually perfect before the issues towards the end of last season.

Have you been getting a buffer free stream?

Don't know if that was for me :D I'm with Sky, I have already turned off the Broadband Shield, I assume that is the equivalent.

I have a plenty fast enough connection and a VPN and still plenty of buffering on Sportsmania. It could be your connection but it could equally be Sportsmania. In the maintenance section on the add-on on Kodi there is a speedtest option to see what you're getting.

If you're on virgin media the best option is to leave.

Hi John. I have Sky's fibre broadband and find it rare to have any buffering whilst on Ipvanish VPN set to Belgium, Holland or Denmark.

Only buffering I've had was during the second half of the Leeds game this week. Usually all my PL streams are fine.

I think the buffering is down to sheer volume of traffic, my opinion only.
Been watching motogp this morning on SM and as always, I will experience 0 buffering. The same will apply tomorrow and Sunday until about 12.45pm (round about the time football early games kick off) when I start to get the odd 5 second buffer, but never any until (busy periods)
The same applies in the evening, never any buffering unless it's Champions league or PL midweek games.

I use a paid VPN and am using a 2yr old cheap tv box that is still running Jarvis 16.1, I am not experiencing anywhere near the buffering that some are describing ?

How many are still "suffering buffering" out of football hours I wonder?

Cheers Darth
Just upgraded to Fibre Max yesterday so hopefully it will improve.

Exactly my experience. Not a single problem other than 'peak' times. I was away on holiday last week so didn't need a VPN in theory, but it was still s/hite from Saturday dinner time until Saturday evening, then fine for the Spanish games at night.

Ps....i have virgin media. Broadband
I finally managed to get a PL match on SM via my VPN – just tried it with the W Ham match. I logged out of everything, re-started, activated the VPN (selected Holland) and then opened up my Google browser. I went straight to SM and the streams page and clicked on the relevant stream in Match Day Section 1. Presto! All worked fine. Fingers crossed it works okay for the important match at 3:00pm.

Worked perfect for the first 4 mins...it's s/hite now

Got PureVPN which I pay for, and tried various locations but still no good. Any ideas?

Edit - Now using Denmark location and it's working...well it has done for the last 2 mins

Unlucky. A buffering low quality stream may have made it more interesting to watch
