Tarks and Mee

Post by boatshed bill » Mon Oct 02, 2017 6:53 pm

Burnley pair James Tarkowski and Ben Mee have made more blocks between them (30) than 16 of the other 19 Premier League teams this season.

Which defences have made more blocks?

I'd have guessed Huddersfield just by how well their defence did against us.

No idea of the other 2.

Tarks is a great ball player - comfortable knocking a short ball into strikers feet + as we saw at Goodison not afraid to try a long pass.

Our Ben, great defender but still needs to work on his passing which at times is abysmal + has been throughout his Burnley career.

Actually, when you think about it.....all three clubs have fairly championship experience (with the same players) and all three have English managers.

I think it's about time for a song!
How about using the "Vokesy Ings" tune for
Tarky/ Ben Mee

Tony Pulis isn't English.
