Burnley betting

Post by Cleveleys_claret » Sun Oct 15, 2017 7:49 am

Every match I put £20 on Burnley to win. This has more than paid for itself over the last 2 seasons. This morning thought I would check odds and place bet. Yesterday we were 25/1 to beat City next week. Today we are 35/1. Never seen odds like this and I truly believe we can bring Pep's superstars down to earth

20/1 on SkyBet....massive difference which bookie do you use?

Feels like we been warming up for this game for a few weeks now. Brighton nearly got something with solid defending against them and we wont be giving them as much room as Stoke did.

I got a feeling we'll nick a draw or a 2-1 win (with Barnes bagging).

What odds were Palace to beat Chelsea yesterday?

I think we could make some money next week by betting burnley with a 2 goal start....I would lay city giving us a 2 goal start....if they win 2-0, 3-1 or 4-2 the money is ours because that is deemed a draw....not expecting us to win but we wont give the match to them like others have done.

Yeah every time I go to place a bet on SkyBet the odds are always worse than most other bookies. In fact I've just checked and it's 18/1. 18/1 odds aren't worth it. 35/1 are though.

35/1 is crazy odds. It’s very likely that you’re throwing your money down the pan but in a 3 horse race it’s worth a dabble.

My regular bookie has 25/1 away win, 10/1 draw. (draw or away is 15/2)
On the handicap, they are looking at City to win by c.3 goals.

I agree with FF- SkyBet is generally uncompetitive for footy bets: their equivalent odds for away & draw are 18/1 & 15/2.

Think I'll go a few quid on the draw /away outcome at 15/2 or I may just go for the draw and allow for the "disappointment" of an away win.

I do think that at times but this season have already won 25/1 at Chelsea and 7/1 at Everton which virtually pays for the rest of the seasons bets.

I think we were the most profitable last season for a £10 win bet on every match.

Plenty of options for fans to place bets.
Don’t know why I noticed it more yesterday than any other game, but I counted at least 8 advertisements for bookies either on the boards or on both teams shirts
(Not that I’m adverse to an occasional flutter myself)
