Dyche's replacement

Post by Steve1956 » Wed Oct 25, 2017 12:58 pm

When he's gone, only one manager really standing out in our type of manager we tend to go for,and that's Rowett done a fine job where ever he's been, treated harshly, talks well, looks hard,....a ready made replacement for the ginger one, personally I hope Dyche stays, but can't see it really,Rowett is the man to replace him, don't want any of the usual suspects like Pardew.......Rowett is the man wether it's in the next few weeks or at the end of the season,I can't think of anyone better can you!?

Is that Gary Rowett, manager of the Championship's 9th placed club Derby County?

By the eck, has any club even approached Burnley yet? :)

Just been reading a fans representative view in the Liverpool echo and all of Allardyce, Moyes and Dyche are NOT wanted according to him. If his opinion is accurate and fans get their say with the goodison heirachy, you can stop worrying about Everton.

Leicester? I don't know.

Just to add, if he were to leave, I'm confident Rowett would be a target. Just fits the profile for me.

Artificial intelligence is the way to go, let it loose on championship manager for a week to learn the game, it will be unbeatable. Worked for chess and go, human managers will be obsolete in 3 seasons.

Leicester are talking to Puel.

I've a feeling their fans will not be impressed.

How about seeking advice from somebody like, oh I don't know, perhaps Deloitte and Touche somebody like that.

If Dyche is the god we all say he is why are we even worried and discussing it. Gods are omnipotent so he needn't leave us at all, he could go and manage another club and stay with us as well. It stands to reason, as a god there is nothing he cannot achieve (apart from making Trump and Dim Sum sane) therefore he can easily manage two clubs at once (or even 3 or 4) without any effort on his part, he would also be able to be in more than one place at once (being omnipresent) so he can conduct training at as many clubs as he wants. He would even have the power to make both teams on any given day play their best against each other as he would be without bias. Remember folks we are talking about someone who is something other than human, someone who can easily achieve whatever he wants to achieve without any problems at all.....

but nurse, please don't make me take my medication again, it wasn't me who started this conversation.....honest.

I heard talks are going very well with Dwight Yorke, and we are hopeful of putting together a lucrative package to lure him to the club.

If he ends up choosing Bayern however, I'd look no further than the Fulam manager or Pardew.

Dyche won`t leave before the season`s end. I suspect he knows he needs a Dyche pre-season and there is the risk with the clubs mentioned that if he went now and failed to keep em up his chance would be gone for good. He has a bloody good set-up at Burnley where he pretty much rules the roost. I have questioned his style at times but he`s a bloody good `un.

IF he did go, the Sheff Utd chap would seem the obvious replacement. Bile would exit my body if the likes of Pardew or AllardycHe were considered.

I’d be surprised if Dyche hasn’t already had involvement in succession planning. He’s seems to have pretty much covered every other area so there’s nothing to suggest that he would a) leave us in the lurch or b) not play an active part in laying the foundations for when his departure finally arrives.

A computer that we e-mail during the game and a programme instantly makes a decision based on what we say as we are all managers for ninety minutes.

What success has Rowett ever had? For all his supposed great work at Birmingham, did they ever make the playoffs?

Chris Wilder has had far more success in a shorter space of time.

I haven't had such a good laugh since the "Grosekie" (spelling?) flight.

Why can we not cross this bridge when the time comes? As it stands there is no firm conection with any club.

People are bound to discuss it on here when Dyche is being widely linked in the media. There would be no point in having this messageboard if such things weren't up for debate.

Has Burnley ever had a foreign manager? Don't think rovers have? In fact, I don't any of the Lancashire clubs have?

Edit.. Henning berg. Easily forgotten as a manager for rovers.
