Why isn't Pulis being linked to the Everton job?

Just surprised they don't see him as a manager capable of doing a good job for them.

Is his style really any different to SD's?

They aren't in danger of being relegated and he isn't known for switching jobs in mid season is he?

He's also known for playing what's generally meh sort of football and Everton have grander ideas.

Pulls never gets linked to jobs like that. Maybe there is a stigma on his style of play but for whatever reason that hasn't applied to Dyche yet but they are very similar managers. However, Dyche is probably more willing to change style of play at a bigger club.

Maybe it's the 2 wins in 18 (or similar) run he's on with WBA. Maybe Everton have ambitions beyond stuffing the team with big blokes and hoping to draw every match nil nil.

Read today that Friends of Pulis are concerned by his dislike of football and anything connected to it nowadays. They say he labels it shitball in front of friends and even players and prefers talking about lacross, opera and zero-point gravity!!
Has banned small talk about football at the dinner table and even training ground!

None of this is new!!!

Pulis actually goes back a long way with us as he "jousted" with Stan way back in his Gillingham days when we weren't actually very good and beating Gillingham took some doing. Time he was put out to grass.

If only we hadn't scored a 23 pass goal. We'd still be called a long ball club ala Pulis and nobody would want our strategically superior manager. We were one misplaced pass away from keeping him. Rats!

The Company I work for is based in Stoke.
There was always a split of who liked him who didn't.
It was more to the did nots.
As been said could Pulis change his tactics or mind set to manage a Everton.
