I was going to attend tonight, booked two days off work for this...
Stupid body decides to have diarrhoea instead, clearly doesn't want me to travel up today

Headline reminded me of Newcy Brown, a powerful headbangers drink. Rough pubs on Tyneside calmed down when landlords stopped stocking the pint size bottles.

Plenty of streams, Sid.
Just use a different cork for each half though.

Do we know if all the visiting tickets have gone? I know given the Geordies this would be a stupid question but Newcastle to Burnley on a Monday night when it's on telly makes me wonder.

Im certain they will be.
Geodies used to have a pub stop stop off in town on way to ewood every season when they`d take 7 or 8 thousand!

Say what you like about the Mags.
But one thing about them that won't change, is they've a huge, passionate fan base.
I'd be surprised if they hadn't sold out their seats.

If we had a full strength squad I would expect atleast a draw. If both Wood and Vokes are out then I would be ecstatic with a point.

Read somewhere that Wood is doubtful but Vokes should be okay. For what it's worth same piece said Wells could be fit enough for a run out. Think it was the BBC site yesterday. Don't quote me.

Well I arrived back in the USA last night, having originally planned to take this game in with its original Saturday date on a visit to family in the UK.

I can't make it tonight, stuck on bloody lates. The tickets are being put to good use anyway.
I hope we play with a lot less caution. I know we can't afford to go gung-ho, but visiting keepers have had it easy so far with little to do. Hendrick has to get a lot closer to whoever the target man is.
if Sam is fit I hope we go 4-4-2 and give Knaki a run out, we can always bring Ash on if needed.
UTC and I hope you all have a good night.

I like Newcastle and have a lot of friends up there, but they will have a huge fan base
because it is a large one club city, much like dirty weeds.

Enjoy the Eclipse. We’ve done a couple of Celebrity cruises recently and had a great time on both. The TV feed usually holds up quite well.

God almighty...the thought of Barnes upfront alone in a prem fixture is not a re-assuring one. That said the midfield looks attacking and i think we could create quite a bit here tonight and it would be no suprise if Barnes banged one in.Really would have liked Wood (ahem) but can't be helped.

This is my weird game as I also have Geordie tendencies and a daughter that lives a 5 min walk from the leazes end.
Ashley Barnes would be first choice if he was a mag. If it doesn't work then I'd like to see wells on the pitch. I know Sam is on the bench but I'd rather he was properly recovered for November Game back in Southampton.
