Well I was riding a 1000cc Suzuki at the time, so they were always behind me.
Not that I am proud of what I did back then.
But one day I raced a merc 450 sl through Whitworth reaching speeds of 130 at 11 at night. That merc was a seriously fast car, over 70 there was little difference in performance.
It was wrong and bad but people did race on the roads a lot back then.

I had the 205GTI 1.9 in Graphite Grey. Stuck to the road like glue and terrific to drive. The Escort RS2000 was probably a bit faster but I preferred the Peugeot. Yuppy days!

That's why I got the HS, good old fashioned, rear wheel, driving pleasure. Every roundabout and every wet corner is a potential carousel if you don't drive it correctly. Great fun!
