Leicester Parking advice
Hi Clarets,
Can anyone recommend free parking areas for the Leicester game in and around the surrounding area.
Easy access and exit routes, costs and safe.
Cheers.

Re: Leicester Parking advice
Driving into Leicester is total *%*%. There is no good route into the centre. Same coming out. And even the industrial estates have tow away zones if you try and park for free.

If you don't mind a walk: drive across to the M1 then leave at the A50 south (Coalville) head towards Leicester then join the A46 east for 1 junction then turn south again heading towards Leicester. After 2 or 3 miles you will see some industrial and commercial units. Park around there and you will be around 20/30 minutes from the ground.

Re: Leicester Parking advice
If you drive in on the A47, then about 200yards before you reach the Holiday Inn, there is a large Car Park on the left that is £3 per day. It is about a 15 minute walk to the King Power'. It is just past the junction of the junction of the A47 (King Richards Rd) and the A5460 (Narborough rd).
Then you walk down Narborough Rd for a couple of hundred yards , left onto New Parks rd go straight across the traffic lights and onto Western Blvd along the canal, left across the canal on Mill Lane immediate right onto Eastern Blvd, straight across the traffic lights onto Raw Dykes Rd which leads to the KP.

Park near the Rugby Ground thats the best place and not to far away. Lots of Burnley fans park there.
