I am currently working in Bolton. It’s snowing but it’s no more than a dusting and it’s on and off. Hardly weather warning stuff tbh.

This "just outside The Grove" lad will be at the turf no matter what
amount of white stuff descends from the heavens.

I’m walking distance to the ground and there’s no snow, either in the air or on the ground. Cars, drives and paths look icey though!
Still warm in bed

I was stood at the door in my underpants with a brew whilst waiting for the cat to come in at 5am this morning. It was a bit mild but nothing to get too excited about.
I think the addition of a vest will be good enough today and providing we are allowed to walk to the match like adults and accept responsibilty for our own two feet then it should be okay.

Isle of Man Clarets grounded.........snowed heavily yesterday, cars stranded and my flight this morning cancelled.......so sadly I won’t be able to throw a bag of cement at André! ......
Hopefully clear by Tuesday so I can get there for the Stoke game.....

There was some reports of a white powdery cloud near the Dunkenhalgh however it has been confirmed that some of the Watford team had allegedly sneezed.

Some snow to come later but even at the top of Manchester Road there has been none since Thursday night - thermals at the ready though.

I can remember once when the match was cancelled due to ice around the walkways in and around the ground. The conditions were similar to today. However, this must have been at least ten years ago.

Does anyone know the bloke who turned up wearing shorts and flip flops at Bournemouth the other week? It was a cold night. I had a few layers on. I don’t know how he did it. I presumed at the time that he thought it ‘apt’ as he was by the seaside.

my elderly neighbour Elsie is awaiting the return of her cat too, I shall suggest the "Underpants" method to her, see if it works .

We got the announcement on Friday that, due to the expected weather & potential driving conditions, the junior football games scheduled to be played at the soccer dome today were cancelled.
Just woke up and looked outside and there’s been no additional fall since last night

I've just sat and watched 2 lorries struggle to get off some icy patches and the slip road that goes up onto the A34 south bound by Didcot is just one big ice sheet today.
The number of people driving around with no lights on, only partially cleared windows and snow piled up on their bonnets and roofs is just ridiculous.
It appears the worst drivers always go out in the snow...

M6 is appalling. Travelling back home from game yesterday and it's not been gritted from Cheshire to well past Birmingham. Avoid if you were thinking of travelling

Yup.
Queues of 45-60 mins on the A34 north near the M40 junction.
I know why, it's because of the hills going towards Oxford and vehicles will be struggling to get up them, probably been some accidents too as a result.
I was meant to go and pick my boys up from Newbury today, but cancelled after seeing the state of the roads on my way out of Didcot.

How about this, next door neighbors granddaughter has just arrived in the last half hour from Australia, never been to England and never seen snow, which she was hoping for and 5 minutes after she arrived it’s a complete white out in Nelson and she was out in the garden in awe!

It's stretching it a lot in the snow sense as well (it'll be all gone by dinnertime tomorrow).

Covered everything in site in under 10 minutes, and big thick flakes coming down profusely for half an hour.
That's a white out to me even if its not quite Alaskan.
Magical to my kids, and me too.
