Dyche furious over the 1st goal because he thought it was a direct free kick and therefore required a whistle - 2nd goal was just good skill. they are making the pitch very wide though with wingers on the touchlines

That’s not true. There is nothing in the laws of the game that say refs have to indicate for the free-kick to be taken. Sides can be asked if they want to take a direct free kick quick or “organized”

Look at Ben Mee run thats why he was narrow he had to be because Mee had gone too far forward and lost the ball and never really got back into position. If you watch the whole move Mee was out of position and Lowton had to tuck in ..
