Cadbury's Dairy Milk (just like me, ordinary, nothing fancy, straightforward and probably a bit boring).

I think you're winning with that choice - can't beat a bit of Dairy Milk! However, I prefer the Dairy Milk Whole Nut.spadesclaret wrote:Cadbury's Dairy Milk (just like me, ordinary, nothing fancy, straightforward and probably a bit boring).

Double Decker!
If they could make a chocolate bar that was half double-decker and half Boost, then this would make me one very, very, very happy chap!

That would be a hell of a combination. Haven't had a Boost in years - are they still going? (Don't think we have them in Spain).jdrobbo wrote:Double Decker!

Re: What's your favourite chocolate bar?
I gained a fair bit of weight over the past couple of years and managed to lose it over time largely by cutting down on chocolate and largely cutting out sugary drinks like Coca Cola. Wasn't in any rush to lose the weight which made it easier. So often you see these 1-week or 1-month diets these days. Just combining a slightly improved diet with relatively regular exercise and patience did it for me. Best of luck!FactualFrank wrote:As I'm on a mission to lose weight, I've been having some Lindt Excellence 85% Cocoa.

Re: What's your favourite chocolate bar?
I don’t really eat much confectionary these days, and I’ve never really had a sweet tooth.
I quite like Rum and Raisin as a flavour, so I used to like Cadbury’s ‘Old Jamaica’ but I haven’t seen it in ages. The last time I had it was from a kiosk at Fulham Broadway Station about a decade ago.
Lady Beamish is quite fond of Salted Caramel chocolate. If I was to pick a current favourite, it would be that, though I’ve not had any for months.

Flake. Closely followed by twirl. Then fruit and nut.
Any Cadbury chocolate is good. Much better than that galaxy shite.
White chocolate is good. (Are we still allowed to say that?)
The only non Cadbury stuff I like is peppermint aero, and terrys chocolate orange.

Old Jamaica sounds interesting - hadn't heard of that one before. Just had a quick look online and it looks like they still make it in Australia and New Zealand!Lord Beamish wrote:I don’t really eat much confectionary these days, and I’ve never really had a sweet tooth.

I've already stated my favourite bar, but should it come down to chocolate in any form, pink chocolate mice win every day of the week.

Re: What's your favourite chocolate bar?
Anything from Cadbury is nasty stuff. More sugar than chocolate and a distinctly unpleasant aftertaste. Swiss or German is good, even the chocolate from Lidl or Aldi is preferable to Cadbury or Mars.

Not sure how big they are, but the last time I had a wagon wheel it was the size of a chocolate button. Tho it was quite a distance away...starting_11 wrote:I used to like a Toffee Crisp... I don't really eat chocolate anymore, probably over 12 years ago since I had one.

Used to love a jammy one of those. I'd eat the top, then the marshmallow, then the bottom.Marney&Mee wrote:Not sure how big they are, but the last time I had a wagon wheel it was the size of a chocolate button. Tho it was quite a distance away...

Now you’re talking. My chocolate heaven when I was a teenager was drinking a hot chocolate through a Spira - it would melt on the inside and you could pull the sticky soft chocolate centre out the middle and the gunk would melt further in my mouth...Sheedyclaret wrote:Sprias gutted when they discontinued them..
