On another thread the news from the north is that they want £20 million and Palace, Everton and Brighton are sniffing around

We can afford it, just depends if Dyche is interested.

Re: Dembelle
He's a good friend of Nkoudou.
Re: Dembelle
If this is true then SD is becoming Warnockess.
How many strikers do we need apart from one every game. Should he arrive before the 31st then the strikers could average about 3 games each until the end of the season

I bet your pardon?
Re: Dembele
However unlikely this rumour sounds Dyche persuaded Defour to join us, maybe he has worked his magic on Dembele?
More pace, power and quality up front, just what we need.

Cannot see there being anything in this. But, I remember laughing at my Dad when he rang me at work to tell me we'd signed Ian Wright. So I'll never say never again.

Re: Dembelle
Be fantastic if we could sign a striker of this calibre even if we are used as a stepping stone to get there foot in the premier league
Re: Dembelle
Dembele,a fit Wood,Vokes and Barnes.with Wells out on loan.
I would be very happy with that

Re: Dembelle
If Dembele (or any other striker for that matter) interests us, we first work out what his role will be. Then, when we have ascertained they have been brought here to play because they are better than what we have, we ship out one or more of the others.mdd2 wrote:If this is true then SD is becoming Warnockess.

Never going to happen. Not even sure he is what we need. We need quick and tricky number 10 that can go past people.

Re: Dembelle
My Celtic season ticket holding mates reckon he’d fit into a Dyche team though he would have to get Dyche fit. Think I’ve covered all bases there.

I'd have gone down the old route of "know uncle/cusan and he text me saying"Steve-Harpers-perm wrote:My Celtic season ticket holding mates reckon he’d fit into a Dyche team though he would have to get Dyche fit. Think I’ve covered all bases there.
It was a very popular approach over the weekend that's for sure.

Re: Dembelle
Apparently he can play as a No 10, 'in the hole' or 'floating' in midfield. 3 players in one and 'a good lad' in the bargain. Get him signed.Steve-Harpers-perm wrote:My Celtic season ticket holding mates reckon he’d fit into a Dyche team though he would have to get Dyche fit. Think I’ve covered all bases there.

'Haha it's been made up'
I imagine there's a lot going on behind the scenes as we post. Hopefully something in this but it might take a good few days for anything to develop. Plenty of other 'irons' in the fire and lots of speculation in the air. Who wants to go first?

Re: Dembelle
By all accounts and reports on the internet he is looking for a move this month away from Celtic and probably to the Premier League but we don't seem to be getting a mention all of Brighton, Everton and Palace are mentioned, I would doubt we are willing to go £20 million for him as his wages would be about a quarter as well so you talking £5 mill a year on a four year contract £40 million over four years, where would we get that sort of money from
I would prefer a bit of cover at CB and if we have a couple of quid left a number 10 but good ones cheap are few and far between, except maybe Europe.

Hmmmm, I'm not sure whether you noticed the very strong hint of sarcasm in many the repsonses on this thread or not......cutsy123 wrote:Got u silly 2hats dint it tho..
Next time, tell your mate to spell the players name correctly and at least then it can be taken semi-seriously.
