Inflammable material. Stiff little fingers.
In the right mood, at the right volume, (loud) it’s untouchable.

Wow, that was the first Motown record I bought along with I Want You Back the Jackson 5. And I still have them, Just a Little Misunderstanding was one of the best and most underrated Motown records.

Listened to it this morning on my top 100. The other side on the UK Tamla Motown pressing, I think, was First I look at the purse, nearly as good and another Rose Room belter.

Re: What music are or were you listening to?
Been listening to some stuff from the past recently. Revisited Al Stewart, Jethro Tull (Thick as a Brick is still awesome), Genesis (the real one with Peter Gabriel still at the front) and.....Chris de Burgh (don't laugh, his pre-Lady in Red stuff was excellent and his more recent Moonfleet and Other Stories is well worth a listen, he's a great story teller). Modern stuff? Ed Sheeran is brilliant and his last album will be a classic in years to come.

Bob Dylan's Bootleg discs 1 -3. Loads of stuff I'd never heard before. I'm going to buy his basement tapes when I get paid next.
Also Suzanne Vega and John Prine. All on the media player in my car on the long drive to work in the morning.

BBC 6 music on digital radio. Have it on every day and have discovered so many new bands/artists over the last few years. If you haven't turned in before give it a go.

Been listening to quite a bit of Steely Dan recently and in particular the Gaucho album. For some reason it seemed to pass me by in the 80's when it was released. Also listening to Bowie's Station to Station album. For me his finest and one of the greatest albums of all time.

Rather enjoying Nightmares on Wax. Quite a mix, hip hop, soul, funk all sort of rolled into one. Excellent and certainly worth a listen.

The first 3 (John Foxx era) Ultravox! albums. Interesting to see the influences of punk and Kraut Rock.
