Croatia Advice
Croatia Advice
Hi All,
Thinking of going to Croatia for a week in the summer and wondering if anyone has any tips on what to do and where to visit? Will definitely be looking to travel around a little and visit different areas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
Many thanks

Would recommend:
Dubrovnik (Lapad is a nice place to stay)
Lopud (My favourite place in Croatia)
Hvar
Or:
Split
Krka national park (swimming under the waterfalls)
Brac

Re: Croatia Advice
Cavtat - in between Dubrovnik Airport & Dubrovnik.
Re: Croatia Advice
Looking at Croatia/Montenegro/Bosnia for our honeymoon in July/August, read the other thread which was a good insight and has given me more to look at.
We're planning two weeks and are happy going from place to place.

Re: Croatia Advice
After receiving some advice on Croatia last year I spent the summer travelling the mainland and some of the islands. Some places I’d definitely recommend:
Dubrovnik, Hvar (Jelsa is beautiful), Bol/Brac, Korcula, Split, Zadar. Get yourself to some of the national parks (Krka and Plitvice both awesome places).
Croatia really is an amazing country and I’m sure that no matter where you go you will love it.

Re: Croatia Advice
I went to Cavtat after reading last year's thread. We're going again this year, loved it.
Dubrovnik is fantastic but changes as the day goes on, night and day, worth a visit.
We also did Mostar in Bosnia which is a great day out.
Also went to Kotor in Montenegro, which I'd never heard of. It's just as beautiful as Dubrovnik.
We didn't do any of the island trips last year so that's one of the goals this year. Any tips apart from Corcula would be welcome.
