I think those in the CFS do get a different perspective on the atmosphere. The City fans were loud in the first half and there were relatively few moments when our fans outsung them and they generally can't be heard from the other stands.
When the JHU Uppper and Lower join in with the CFS it can be noisy but it isn't that often. I never hear anything from the BL or JM because I don't sit there but I'm sure some people make some noise there as well.
Goal celebration aside the only real rockin' yesterday was a cameo Lancashire Home after we had scored and an odd token NNN that never gets finished.
We need Gareth Malone if we want a co-ordinated effort that has the right tempo

Marginally better in the JHU throughout yesterday. People were more willing to join in. We need to be like the last 20 minutes more often.

Only last 20 mins or so was the Turf rocking ,1st half fans were poor till City scored then they sang a fair bit.
CFS was decent as were JHU/JHL later in game .CFS
Is so isolated though they often forget their own noise doesn’t travel as well as they think

I think the point is more that the Burnley fans don't get on the players backs.
Mirroring the players attitude, disappointing yes, crying about it no.
Like away last season, full match vocal support and standing ovation, not that we usually sat down, at the end, and we didn't win in the first 17 or so away games.

I can't believe fans chant and make a noise after their team scores a goal!

Father Jack wrote:We need to cancel out the speed singers. So stop singing when they speed up and then start again nice and slow when they've got bored and stopped themselves.
The idea of singing alternately could help. Also 4 well spaced claps between the words. This reinforces the tempo.
Finally we need to resurect the concept that NNN doesn't stop after one chorus. It's our loudest and most well known song. Yet we let it stop prematurely just when the noise builds up with people singing "we hate b@stards".
Where did this come from? It's rubbish. We have to sing over it and be persistent.
We've been stopping as soon as it speeds up then carrying on at the starting pace with alternative singing. It's slowly working but takes time for the chant to build again and again - we were at it for 5/10 mins yesterday whilst 3 waves of the speed singing interrupted it.

Mourinho complaining about the lack of atmosphere at OT.
Manchester United fans responded by saying the "atmosphere is primarily dependent on the perceived relationship between fans and club - including the degree of supporter ownership and engagement".
What's the tune? I've heard catchier chants.

I agree. We were close to winning it at the end. Then Hendrick got the ball.......
