I was out there with them briefly. Poor guy was in a lot of pain. But he never dropped his guard and managed the team perfectly.

He sounds like he’s on strong medication reading the end of that report.
Proper ramble.

Re: Another out for the season
I’m afraid I am also out for the season after slipping on ice last week.
I managed to snap quad tendons in both knees. Had surgery last Wednesday and in Cricket pad splints for 6 weeks so still in Blackburn Royal not being able to stand without the aid of 3 people. So just a banana board for me to get from bed to chair and chair to bed.
It could have been worse though so hey ho.

I've got an injury too - slipped and fell downstairs this morning and in quite a lot of pain. Should be fit for Saturday though although Sean Dyche reckons I'm touch and go.

I'm sure the squad will cope Tony. Seriously, get well soon.ClaretTony wrote:I've got an injury too - slipped and fell downstairs this morning and in quite a lot of pain. Should be fit for Saturday though although Sean Dyche reckons I'm touch and go.

Not for a while hopefully spades. Just need to be more careful and shouldn't be walking round barefoot either. Still very sore today but shouldn't be out for the season.spadesclaret wrote:Time for a stair lift, CT? Ican't do without mine.

Wrong! Barefoot is good. It avoids all sorts of foot problems. Just watch where you're going. Specsavers?ClaretTony wrote:Not for a while hopefully spades. Just need to be more careful and shouldn't be walking round barefoot either. Still very sore today but shouldn't be out for the season.

I shouldn't ever walk around barefoot being diabetic but I do far too often. I'd agree with the second suggestion though.spadesclaret wrote:Wrong! Barefoot is good. It avoids all sorts of foot problems. Just watch where you're going. Specsavers?

So many injury stories, I thought Touch and Go were integral squad members!

Apparently Sean’s walking ok, albeit a little gingerly.

Touch and go. Could well be the epitaph for Brendan Cox.....
