Used to really enjoy the "Strike" games on the Mega Drive. Desert strike, jungle strike urban strike etc.

Some great games already - Shenmue 2 and Baldurs Gate being up there for me. I also loved the Dragon Age games (still playing Inquisition) and Counter Strike and Portal were also brilliant in different ways.
Bizarrely though, the game I play most is Marvel Puzzle Quest on my phone. I'm on day 1480ish. Can play anywhere and fills the train journeys and it's constantly developing and free to play if you want it to be. Some people are a bit too competitive though and there are "conservative" estimates of players spending over $100k on it (which tells you how good it is).
