One was in tears on 606 about the club being ''torn apart' They were 6th in the Premier League last time I looked. They've never experienced misfortune or relegation. Pathetic. Having said that Wenger has stayed on too long.

Re: Arsenal fans
A lot of people will support Arsenal because of their success in the invincible era. I used to really like them and Wenger, that’s evaporated now after recent games against them.
If supporters like that could cope with losing, they’d support their local club.

They have won the FA Cup twice in the last three years, final of Carabao cup, been in Champions League virtually every year bar this one and are moaning. It is every thing what hacks me off about glory supporting fans.

Re: Arsenal fans
said it before, you can turn on any station covering football and within seconds Arsenal crops up, this morning BBC have virtual hourly bulletins about the poor sods.
They must attract rich media types as fans to generate this much business.
They are just ONE team in a league, its pathetic. City should be getting masses of coverage, but in comparison , barely anything.
I cannot remember all this stuff happening years ago either, with fans power, it wasn't the done thing to publicy campaign to oust a manager.

Torn apart
Sounds similar to the Everton fans before they got rid of Koeman
They'll get very little sympathy from fans of other clubs.

Re: Arsenal fans
It's hilarious that they can't even see how pathetic they come across. What would they do if they were in a relegation battle?
I doubt we will, but wouldn't it be great if us and Leicester could get above them. Just to rub their sorry noses in it.
88 teams in the league would gladly swap places with them, and they're having a mental breakdown.

Re: Arsenal fans
I watched the Arsenal game yesterday and everytime the cameras were directed to the fans, there were boos and angry gestures being thrown at their team, the mood changed slightly when they pulled a goal back but the fans were still not happy, i loved every minute of it, they are so used to all the glory that a blip like this to them is tragic, they have never endured what clubs like ours have been through yet our loyal fans have stuck it out and now we have our rewards.Arsenal fans are now one the most disliked bunch of soppy, dummy spitting ponces in football, it would be great if we could finish the season above them and rub their soft toffee noses in it.Its not just the fans who are disliked, their players get away with diving and cheating all the time, refs seem to turn a blind eye to that on a regular basis, the foul on the lad yesterday which knocked him out was deemed as an accidental collision by the ref, this was a pre meditated act of total aggression and the guy got away with it despite being booked previously. I hope they dont win a thing this season such is my dislike of them.I hope they sack Wenger and they employ a manager that drags them further into oblivion.

And the way they got in the old First Division originally, was a bit dodgy.

Plenty on here last week moaning about been in 7th place.
One win and the UTC focus moves onto overtaking Arsenal, maybe Chelsea and a place in the Europa League.
Nothing like a happy medium.

To be fair. With the amount a season ticket costs and the amount of star players theyve been forced fo sell despite being probably the most profitable club id be ****** off.

We hounded Jimmy Adamson out in the 70s. There were pitch invasions and demonstrations. We also had the Bob Lord out brigade in the 70s.Wile E Coyote wrote:said it before, you can turn on any station covering football and within seconds Arsenal crops up, this morning BBC have virtual hourly bulletins about the poor sods.

They try to stick to a wage budget and generally do it quite well.
They also try and stick to a policy of only offering 1yr contract extensions to players in their 30's.
Considering those things they've done really well to stay in the top 4 for so long when other clubs have thrown ridiculous amounts of money at their squads to catch up.
The issue now is they've caught and gone past Arsenal who've stood still for to long.

It's the clowns on that Arsenal TV and the idiot fans they interview after the games that wind me up. Totally derogatory against teams like us (same with Chelsea), in comparison to Spurs who've always seemed a decent bunch
Re: Arsenal fans
Well Hampstead? Care to elaborate?
If you saw the program on BB4 last night about Japan, the narrator made out that the UK had never seen wood before nor worked with it much. Also the Japanese wood expert didn't really know very much about the history of woodwork in the UK. I don't think I have ever seen a more patronizing and condescending TV program. If I had been a woodworker in England or a woodwork teacher, I would have gone ballistic. I have on behalf of my O level.
One must remember that the imperial art of the East incorporates nature forms into its authoritarian government system so that folk will believe the imperial authority is divine as if they themselves are nature, in fact there is a phrase 'Buddha-nature' and I've even fallen for it myself AND NOW also with electronic authority too, including edit-paste etc.
Buddhists sit in the pyramidal form to usurp triangular shapes for themselves, as if Buddha were nature and nature were Buddha. It's a very convincing construct.
