HENDRICK AGAIN!!!
Jesus wept!
The gaffer really does have one or two issues he ever learns from his mistakes.

The mind boggles. Only time will tell but I feel the hammers will be there for the taking today .we looked so much more balanced as a team with wood in

Hate to say it, but disappointed to see Hendrick in and no Chris Wood. Ah well, let's see what happens Utc.

The issue isnt just Hendrick but that this team leaves Barnes isolated up front where he's a lot less effective. If we're playing Hendrick fair enough but then Wood should play the lone striker role. If Barnes is playing then it should be alongside Wood and Hendick dropped to the bench
This combination is just weak but West Ham are crap so hopefully we can still get on top and get the first goal

Barnes is the best of the lot as a lone target.

disagree apart from Swansea at home he's struggled in that position until another striker has been brought on. Barnes was at his best in the early part of the season coming off the bench round 70mins to either chase a game or hang on to it

The problem is we don't.
Palace, Swansea and Newcastle we sat back waiting for the change, only to find ourselves a goal down and up **** creek. If ever a game was begging for us to get on the front foot this was it. Seriously ****** off.
I can only pray Sean knows better than me.
It isn't just the fact that Hendrick is back, he played quite well first half, but the fact it seems so negative.

Mystifying.
For all his immense greatness, our Sean can't half be set in his ways when he wants to be...
Oh well. At least Wood will presumably come on at some point.

I know people have been calling for Barnes and Wood all week but with Wood just coming back in it was always unlikely.
I just hope people don't get on Hendricks back.

Hendrick played a lot closer to Barnes last week and looked better for it.
Although we were much improved second half this is an away match and SD will always take the away point.
I still feel we'll have enough today, especially with Hart back between the sticks.

Im not knocking picking Hendrick, my opinion is that if we go with Hendrick then Id rather have Wood up top

They way Barnes has been playing it would be a big decision to drop him.

Warming the bench week in week out must be a little soul destroying for Vokes and Wood.

I agree its a tough decision and far easier to make from the stands. Out of the three combinations of the front two I think Barnes and Hendrick is the weakest option but the team is picked and im still positive we have enough to win the game

Taking Hendrick off at half time last week proved to dyche it doesn't suit Hendrick in that role .so why oh why persist with it again and again and again

All our best results away have come,I think, with us playing 4-5-1, so no argument with the formation. Saying that, those days involved Brady and Defour playing `with` Hendrick in the midfield. Without Brady especially, think Hendrick has struggled. Today could be his day though!!!!!!!! 2-1 please, Burnley (a 4-0 win though would be absolutely fine!).

given they have Collins and Ogbonna at CB I'm surprised he hasn't gone for Vokes instead of Hendrick. Doubt Barnes will do much on his own against those two tbh

We usually look toothless when Hendrick plays in this position. We looked good second half last week when we made a positive change. Looks like we are playing for 0-0 until it goes wrong.

Not a believer in only just back from injury. The only way to get back match fit is by playing football not sat on the bench

Surprised Wood isn't starting and really think he should be but hey, I'm not the gaffer! Assume we're easing him back in. We'll need him second half when we're still at 0-0 or chasing the game (in all likelihood).
