Nothing to fear for us from these two sides, and we are unbeaten against the newly promoted sides this season.
Re: Cardiff v Wolves
I must admit, there is an air of the Karanka about this Wolves manager. Don't think he'll do well with the pressure and can see them taking a similar route as Boro did last season.

Re: Cardiff v Wolves
The Wolves manager was bang out of order. I hope Cardiff miss out to Fulham now and Villa come back up through the play offs. Fulham is a good away day and Villa always bring a loud travelling support
Re: Cardiff v Wolves
Interesting how a manager involved in the likes of the battle of Bramhall lane is trying to preach to another about etiquette. Whilst the Wolves manager undoubtedly got carried away (then tried to make amends) it should be remembered how Wanock behaves on the touch line in every game that is played. A very sore loser and a thoroughly dislikeable individual.

It's the second time the Wolves manager got carried away though.Papabendi wrote:Interesting how a manager involved in the likes of the battle of Bramhall lane is trying to preach to another about etiquette. I don’t know enough about the Wolves fella to comment. But I know plenty about Warnock

It’s about the tenth.Spijed wrote:It's the second time the Wolves manager got carried away though.
Doesn’t change the opinion of Warnock over the years though.
Re: Cardiff v Wolves
Has this fella ever deliberately had a game called off because they were losing? Let’s forget the handshakes for a moment

Just because the Wolves manager is wrong doesn't mean Warnock has to be. Both let passion get the better of them.
I thought Cardiff looked energetic but limited whereas Wolves had the energy but also spark from quite a few players.

How long has this handshake etiquette been in place between managers anyway?
Re: Cardiff v Wolves
Isn't it the case in any sport that you should shake hands with the opposition after the game and show respect to your opponent?Bordeauxclaret wrote:How long has this handshake etiquette been in place between managers anyway?

Re: Cardiff v Wolves
Have managers always done it? I can’t recall Jimmy Mullen going across to the opposition bench straight away. Maybe he did, I don’t know.
Seems to be more for the public eye than anything else, like the one before the game. I’m sure it’s always gone on in private.

Re: Cardiff v Wolves
If you've just won away to your nearest rivals, to leave you one win away from promotion, you're entitled to celebrate anyway you like. So what if he makes himself look a tit, he's happy. Warnock would have celebrated the same way if they scored either of those penalties. In fact because they missed them IS the only reason Warnocks ****** off. A sad git living up his own A*&^hole.
Re: Cardiff v Wolves
I actually quite like Warnock. He’s very passionate about football, can clearly motivate average players to perform above their normal level of ability and has been consistently successful outside of the Premier League. If I was a chairman of an underperforming Championship side he’d be at the top of my list of managers I would want.

I like the fact that the Wolves’ Manager’s name translates as Nuno(Nigel) Holy Spirit.

Re: Cardiff v Wolves
Only just starting to see the evidence that Nuno is a c0ck. Warnock has proved it time and time again over many years. As some one posted above, Nuno seems a Karanka type - he won't last long!
And once again you compare our classy manager to these two clowns and think how bloody lucky we are to have SD.

Re: Cardiff v Wolves
This is the same Warnock who, as Crystal Palace manager, overtly admonished his own players for shaking hands with a referee at the end of a match. That's obviously not a problem to him. The guy's a complete twonk. Nasty piece of work.

Think anagram and rearrange the letters that remain after you remove Colin.

Anagram of his name is Colin W****r. Created by Wednesday fans when he was manager of Sheffield United.tim_noone wrote:Why do folk call him Colin ? It's gone over my head.

I know a chap who was the editor of the Oldham Athletic fanzine. He claims to have created the anagram after Colin left Boundary Park. Whatever, it is certainly very apt.FactualFrank wrote:
