Next Saturday could seal it

Post by claretrobo1 » Sat Apr 07, 2018 5:03 pm

A win would take us 9 points clear with 4 games left. You’d expect Leicester to have to then win all 4 games to have a good shout at 7th, with two games being against Spurs and Arsenal.

This is the first time I think we’ll actually do it. Let’s just hope

I think a draw will probably do it - a win would make it a certainty.

I am so excited at the prospect, Romania on a Thursday night? I'm there.

Leicester could have been down to 10 men in first half after Maguire was riled and pushed Gayle in the face- got a yellow - lucky boy, but shows he can be got at - something to watch at the world cup - can Barnes wind him up

If Arsenal lose their next game, we could still end up playing them for 6th.

Just keep everything crossed that
A. Arsenal go as far as possible in the Europa cup, even win it if they like.
B. Southampton get knocked out of that FA Cup asap!

Just imagine IF cheating Arsenal had not got the added time pen at Burnley, we would be 1 point ahead of them tonight !! As for Leicester, a draw would be fine, a win would be amazing.

Swings and roundabouts, I'd say. We've had things go against us and we've won games we didn't deserve to win, this season. We've done alright and luck has levelled out.

The bad news is we've only got 2 away games left.

I think we’ll do it.

But I won’t believe it until Southampton are out of the FA Cup.

the way I see it there is no way Southampton are going to win the fa cup so I would like to think we beat Leicester or don't lose to them on Saturday and we are in Europe

Aye it is, apologies. However, that doesn't change my opinion as it would still be difficult

Hopefully Southampton lose their semi final I'd hate to see us finish 7th and then have to wait for the cup final to be sure.

Pessimist. We still have Chelsea to play - we could play them for 5th. :D

Looking at the fixtures, I think that we just need four points to secure seventh place. So it’s in the bag.
