healthy muesli

Post by claretnproud » Sun May 06, 2018 8:21 pm

I like muesli in summer and porridge in winter. Problem is that lots of the muesli manufacturers put sugar in and I want mine just full of oats n nuts and natural stuff. so which of the brands or supermarket own brands fits the bill do you think?

I have very similar tastes to you - porridge in Winter and muesli in Summer. Porridge in particular is good for keeping the cholesterol down. I find Alpen no added sugar as good as anything else.

Asda do their own it's really cheap and when you compare sugar to the others it's about 75 percent less , I love allen but find I am hungry a couple of hours later due to the sugar content , I have been having the asda one with added almonds and stuff

I've always liked Alpen after seeing this advert :-
