The 25k is the average cost per player per point.starting_11 wrote:25 grand a week average?

Re: Best value for money
However £1.37m divided by 52 (weeks) is approx £25kLeisure wrote:The 25k is the average cost per player per point.

Re: Best value for money
In what way? Too much or not enough? This works out at roughly £70m a year, which I believe to be pretty accurate. £1.3m a year has our average wage at 25k, again, sounds about right to me with a number on 30k+ and certainly some on less than 25K.Chester Perry wrote:I believe that has been done with the wrong wages for us

Not enough I'd have thought.
Our starting 11 would be on more than that
Wasn't our wage bill 60m last year?

Re: Best value for money
25k/26k a week is the average... this doesn’t mean they all earn that!!! This will include our other pros who will be on less than 10k, so our 1st teamers will mostly be on more than 25k, but the average is brought down by those on less. So £70m a year won’t be far wrong. Slight increase with players signing new deals recently, but will be pretty close. Same as other sides, but we will still be top as others might have increased a wee bit, like ours over the season.starting_11 wrote:Not enough I'd have thought.

Re: Best value for money
Total wage bill was £60m including all staff (coaches, manager etc)....and also including bonuses.
This was not 17/18 though it was the year before.
Not sure where or how these figures have come from. It might just be average base pay without bonuses as we know this is a big part of our pay structure.

Nobody knows so just take delight from our new found recognition instead of having to micro analyse every single thing written about our most successful period in decades!
