Re: Tommy Robinson
I read a piece in the burnley express last week about nelson and briefield, it made reference to serious incidents whereby police had been subjected to torrents of abuse and had stones hurled at them by large groups of young asian males. The piece described how this occured as officers tried to make enquiries in the area in relation to an incident with vehicles on colne road, and were prevented from doing so by what was in essence a mob.
when you think about it, that is a very bad situation, it suggests that lawlessness is rife and intimidation is the norm.
The article concluded with quotes from community leaders and councillors but it was achingly vague and tiresome,
If the perception of the public is one of treading on eggshells, then problems will not go away.
Naturally, the extremely serious stories hit the national press, but the debates or any chance of serious dialouge are scuppered immediately with accusations of racism. That is disasterous. People who have genuine concerns shouldn't be branded as right wing thugs simply for asking questions.
If this trend continues, then figures like tommy robinson will be seen as the only option for voicing a counter view.
That is also wrong, because as has been mentioned, there is a lot of middle ground to be covered, and nobody can enter that space without risking being ridiculously labelled by critics from the liberal thinking left in British politics.

Yes. My left foot is injured so i have to check on the sock pressure to see if they're suitable for the day. Then i put right sock on before finally putting my centrist sock on when i arrive at the missus' house to make sure something like you doesn't happen again.KRBFC wrote:Oh look, another debate turned into the boring old left v right by Mr Turtle himself. So the question is, if they're all convicted of the crimes they stand accused of, does that mean Yaxley-Lennon is vindicated?

You claim to support the rule of law, i assume. So why do you think this particular criminal be allowed to get away with wilfully defying the law?

Someone who knows too much about Islam is generally accepted as one of the criteria.
Re: Tommy Robinson
It's not racist seeing your country being ruined by immigration and wanting to stop it.
All this living amongst each other different races, religions etc doesnt work as much as people want it too it just doesnt.

Different races bring with them different cultural values etc.
Sometimes they just don't always mix well with new countries cultural values.
FGM being an example.
That isn't racist in itself.

Yep, Islam has attained race status, any critic of Islam is racist. Ayaan Hirsi Ali as an apostate and an avid opponent of FGM doubly so and she's even been called a misogynist for her opposition of the niqab and FGM. Rushdie of course created a parody of what is considered a real event in the Satanic Verses and incurred the wrath of hundreds of millions and someone called Yusuf Islam who was formerly a peace loving hippie who read the Qur'an and became a wannabe killer for Allah....and yes, Rushdie being of non Muslim majority Hindustani origins also qualifies as racist.
