England vs Nigeria
Re: England vs Nigeria
I'd be able to get away with supporting Scotland, Ireland or Korea if they wasn't just as sh1t!

Re: England vs Nigeria
We actually played reasonably well in the first half. The second half was about as different as you can get. Swap those 2 halves, and people would be saying we did ok.

So I’ll take that as a resounding yes then.South West Claret. wrote:So after today’s lacklustre performance can we all agree that England will not repeat not win the WK?

I only saw the last 50 minutes, if it was a Burnley display I'd be disappointed.FactualFrank wrote:We actually played reasonably well in the first half. The second half was about as different as you can get. Swap those 2 halves, and people would be saying we did ok.

Did you say the same when the clip of Bardsley was posted on here of him blatantly diving?RalphCoatesComb wrote:Sterling should not play again for England. We don't want cheats - especially those who aren't even that good at it!
Will it happen? No! Sad really

That's what Kane looked like to me - didn't want to go past 2nd or 3rd gear.Rayaforspain1875 wrote:With players making sure they don't get injured..

Re: England vs Nigeria
My wife thought England played twice today.
I really couldn't be bothered to explain but did say they won both matches.

Re: England vs Nigeria
Now if it had been Burnley playing Nigeria then I think
the synopsis would be similar to:
'We started the game very well, took the game to them,
created a good few chances and went in at half-time deservedly 2-0 up.
In the second half they came back at us, scored a goal and took the game to us
but we held on relatively well and didn't let them totally dominate.
All in all we had most of the possession and it has to be a good win.
The first 20 mins or so were probably as well as we've played for a long while
Promising and we looked a good team.
Come on you clarets!
