That no.15 (Vecino) is excellent at giving the ball away.

Think at this stage, I'd risk Salah for the last half hour or so.

Three points up for grabs for the Egyptians with one piece of skill.

To be fair to Egypt, they've been pretty solid defensively but a better team will tear them apart. Uruguay have been disappointing so far.

Uruguay and Suarez in particular have been terrible.

Obviously I have him and Cavani in my team. Cavani as captain!

Mo Salah must be nowhere near fit if their not bringing him in in this type of game

Egypt have moved it about well and played great without the ball.

I was torn between choosing Griezmann and Cavani as captain. Went for the former in the end. Cavani has done okay. Unlucky not to have scored maybe.

Yes, they were my first choice really. Cavani just seemed very good value at that price. I'm playing 3 up front though (my other striker is Mitrovic).

Yea, thought the same. Ill end up taking a midfielder out and putting Son from Spurs in. Quite fancy him getting a few goals. Great player.

He must have touched the ball four times prior to the free kick and phil Neville says he was outstanding ffs!

He certainly wasn't outstanding but he did have a dangerous shot that was well blocked and obviously the FK. He needed better service really.

You can still change your captain even though he’s played.

Excellent game for the neutral very surprised how good Egypt are lots of attacking football on show today considering it was a qualifying group game which can be very defensive and a bit boring.

Why wouldn't you have picked Cavani and then switched to Griezmann after Cavani failed to score today?

When you can switch mid-round the optimal strategy is obviously to pick the players playing first and switch if they don't get enough points.

You could change. But you would lose his points.
Example, so I had Cavani. Hasn’t done well enough. So tomorrow will change for Griezmann.

It seems obvious but unfortunately I didn't know about that until this morning when I read about it in the fantasy world cup thread. I'll just hope Griezmann does well as I'm not sure I have many more influential players playing after him. Will obviously follow that strategy in the next rounds.

I thought it was a poor game. Egypt played ok but against a team who can pass 5 yards and not be playing the Rugby can’t pass forward rule they may struggle. Godin was Uruguays best defender and midfielder.

I think even Fergie would have been a flop at West Ham!
