Spotify
Spotify
I am thinking of getting Spotify but have a few queries regarding it
How much will it cost a month and if I ever want to cancel do I have to give a months notice or maybe I have to commit for 12 months?
And can I pay just the one payment and get all the Spotify music to play on my Android mobile and on my Apple iPad and on my laptop and even on my Amazon Echo/Alexa?
How many songs are on there?
And very importantly can you recommend Spotify?

Re: Spotify
If you get Spotify Premium, you'll never go back. It has everything you'd ever want. Must have

Re: Spotify
I love it.
Costs £9.99 a month (or £4.99 if you can find a student to let you use their Unidays account
) and no contract so you can cancel and never pay again. Once a premium member it will work on all of your devices. The playlists, etc. you create will pass across the devices.
There will be the odd occasion you won't find the songs you won't but it's tough to find them anywhere. You can get a 30 day trial so try it and if it doesn't have the music you like, dump them. More than likely it will have all of the songs you ask for.
Highly recommended.

Probably the greatest app I have. If your a music lover it's a no brainer! Beware though--not all artists are signed to Spotify, off the top of my head I think the beatles are missing from there and Oasis were only added a few years ago.
The best feature about premium is setting your playlist with no adverts and downloading it to your phone, then you don't have to stream and spend on data!

Re: Spotify
I think they're doing 3 months for 99p at the moment. Have a look for any promos before going for it.
It's absolutely superb though. Haven't looked back since getting it.

Re: Spotify
Look into Amazon music.
Its £79 per year / £7.99mo.
30 day free trial too.
There's an Echo plan for £4 a month too.

Re: Spotify
Amazon have 2 plans. There prime music and premium music. The prime music can be limited compared to Spotify.

Spotify Free seems now to be "shuffle play" only, but there's a couple
of vids on YouTube to get round that.

Re: Spotify
there should be a free app available like TutuApp .....
Which once downloaded will let you download Spotify++ for free
Then Spotify++ should be a premium version of Spotify which you pay nothing for .....
Jus’ sayin’

Re: Spotify
I've tried Amazon, Google and Spotify for music and would say that Spotify is the best apart from one flaw that made it unworkable for me.
For some reason Spotify limits your library to 10,000 tracks and there is no way round this. I wasn't even half way through adding my music at that point so I gave up on it. A lot of people don't have as much or don't use the library so this won't impact on everyone.
I'm on Amazon now which ties in nicely with the Echo and has a decent library, etc but the recommendations aren't great compared to spotify. The family plan is good though, £150 a year for up to six people with independent accounts is good value I reckon.

Re: Spotify
I have the 3 months for just 99p deal to get Spotify Premium
Can you only get any deal like this just the once and once it has finished have to pay £9.99 a month every time?
Or can you use a different email address to get any of the future deals but once again for just the one time?

I know - I don’t know how these musicians cope with only 1 Ferrari and 1 Porsche and 3 watches worth the GDP of a small country - how do they cope.Dyched wrote:It’s as if streaming services weren't killing music enough eh?!

Spotify is brilliant. I was wary of getting it at first but I’ve never looked back. So easy to use. Must be millions of songs available on there.

Yeah because all musicians are multimillionaires who drive about in Ferraris and Porsches.bfccrazy wrote:I know - I don’t know how these musicians cope with only 1 Ferrari and 1 Porsche and 3 watches worth the GDP of a small country - how do they cope.
