Re: stabbing in nelson near buoyant
Nothing quite so serious but I was on a tram in Manchester this afternoon when it kicked off involving four or five people. Like a lot of people, I got off and waited for the next one. Sad world.

I've come to dislike people more and more. I'm probably just getting older and grumpier. I'm considering leaving the city and moving to a remote village or something (as long as the internet is decent of course).

I'm finding our current version of society very difficult.

Re: stabbing in nelson near buoyant
Lifes so cheap these days. There people set themselves up as investigator judge jury and sentancer and think nothing of killing for respect or some reason, yet for themselves want and get human rights the rule of law and comfortable prisons. They are released why still relatively young. No deterent. If anyone watched the murder of Rhys Jones documentry last night and witnessed the callous disregard the vermin who killed him had for him his family the police and the community they would want such people to die in prison.

Tis true what they say then...it’s grim up north.
Re: stabbing in nelson near buoyant
Anybody who's happy with modern society either hasn't known anything else i.e. they're young or they don't see or hear what goes on out there.

I might move down south where there are no stabbings. Perhaps London.South West Claret. wrote:Tis true what they say then...it’s grim up north.

Re: stabbing in nelson near buoyant
Do people still wonder why people leave this board?
This thread, about a stabbing (in a claret town- not that that should matter), shows the worst of this board.
Shame

Good internet is a must for me as I need it for work. Maybe I should just pack it all in and become a shepherd.

Was this one of those gang fights that involved about 20 Asian lads on either side fully tooled up, taking over an entire street with fighting while the police do totally nothing to stop it?
Probably started over one of the other gangs side texting the others sister.

Re: stabbing in nelson near buoyant
There is a dividing line in Nelson....Hendon road...if you are town side ( south ) of that its a bit iffy....Colne side of that is still ok....its always been the case that the cheaper housing has been round the centre.....buoyant and several factories up hendon road act as a sort of dividing line....where the incident happened was probably chosen as its a quiet spot and not overlooked by houses.

Re: stabbing in nelson near buoyant
Would bet against that if both sides are Asian. but lets say that's the case...how do they reconcile with their differing moral boundaries? I mean, if Asians think it's wrong for other young Asian lads full of testosterone to be texting their sister, why do some Asians take the side of the one doing the texting if it is so frowned upon within that community? Puzzling to me that.ClaretMoffitt wrote:Was this one of those gang fights that involved about 20 Asian lads on either side fully tooled up, taking over an entire street with fighting while the police do totally nothing to stop it?

Because usually they are from different areas and just stick up for each other. The one from another area usually arrive in a load of GTI's and BMW's tooled up and kick off with the other lot.
