Post by ElectroClaret » Fri Jul 06, 2018 2:25 pm

First quarter final.
Going for France here.
2-1
Particularly if Mbappe is on song.

Fancy France mesen but that Godin is some defender and they’ll have to get past him. He also knows Greizmann as they are Athletico teammates.

They'll miss Cavani badly, methinks.

Again far more South America fans than European?
Puzzled to why this is given the distance?

Probably because of the trouble in the Euros. They were worried it would be like a war zone.

home to...

the worst hairstyle at the World Cup (Uruguayan left-back)
the worst comb over I`ve seen for a while (the ref)
one of the biggest wastes of space in world football (Pogba - makes Henderson look like a world beater). Cue a goal!!!!! As the poacher commented in `Withnail & I` "prancing like a tit` around the pitch.

Uruguay have played exactly how Colombia did. Ill disciplined and focussed on disrupting the game rather than trying to score. Poor from them.

One South American nation standing and 6 Europeans,if Belgium do Brazil tonight it's effectively a mini European Championships.

Spot on, they're so focussed on the dark arts they forget to play. They're both half decent sides too, seems a waste.

With VAR and some refreshingly clued up refs, it's not working anyway.

I'm not defending Colombia or Uruguay for their approach but both were lacking potential matchwinners,Rodriguez for Colombia,Cavani for Uruguay,it shows even the better teams need their first 11 fit to compete at these tournaments, something which for once England have this time thankfully.

Yes, and no doubt that tw@t Neymar will be throwing himself to the ground at every available opportunity.

Just watched the highlights of the Brazil vs Belgium game and as the cheat Neymar was prone on the ground, my 3 year old boy asked "is he dead?" Sums that turd of a footballer up for me. An embarrassment.

Many people suspect Neymar's antics cost Brazil a likely penalty last night,if so karma rules.

I agree but brazil shoud of had a stonewall penalty but most probably due to neymar diving every 2 mins it got turned away when it should of been one
