15% tariffs on live animals
26% on meat and edible meat offal

12% on edible vegetables and certain roots and tubers
18% on products of the milling industry; malt; starches; inulin; wheat gluten
But no doubt people will say it’s fake news
Because it is.
I've been looking to support your claim that there's a 15% tariff on "live animals" from Nigeria. Not only is that not how the tariffs are applied, everytime i pick a live animal type to see what the tariff is it's not at or above 15%.
Look for yourself
http://madb.europa.eu/madb/euTariffs.ht ... country=NG" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Select "Nigeria", then click "Find my product code" and see if you can find any "live animals" that have tariffs at 15%
What i'm sure has happened is you've copied and pasted this bullshit from
brexitcentral.com, or whomever you've got it from has, and you've uncritically swallowed it like you swallowed everything Farage, Johnson and Gove fed you two years ago. And like you'll continue to swallow long after this thread has been deleted.
And what else i'm sure has happened is that brexitcentral, or someone dishonest who writes for them, has scoured the list of live animals that receive a tariff, found the highest tariff, and decided to spread the bullshit that every type of live animal has that exact tariff. And i've no doubt they did that to "meat and edible meat offal" and everything else on that list, because that's how these liars work. Similar to how they saw the top figure of £350/week and ignored everything else they knew. Purely to deceive the uncritical masses, like you.
