How to unsubscribe from RED TV

Post by Rodleydave » Fri Jul 27, 2018 10:39 am

Mrs T who is a whizz at these things cannot figure out how to unsubscribe from RED TV.
We did the monthly subscription to watch the game.
Are we now locked in forever.
has anyone unsubscribed successfully already.

Thought it was a decent second half performance from TV.
A deserved result.
The commentators a sort of Scottish version of Dumb and Dumber.
Vokes worked a miracle to score being grappled and mauled by two defenders one of them with his arms clearly wrapped round him.

Clicking the unsubscribe button doesn’t seem to work. I sent then an email and I’ve had a reply confirming they’ve cancelled for me.

yes, mate, I have canceled already

Go to the top left into account

then to subscriptions

then it asks if you want to cancel at the bottom of the box

then say yes and it tell you when your cancel date is.

I had to message them and they responded promptly.

You need to be logged in then go into account from the menu.

In there you go to subscription and the the link to cancel. It kept giving me an error so messages them.

Red must have been planning Christmas do in the Bahamas with all the signups they had in the last week

With the cancellations over the next month it’s more likely to be Blackburn (in Aberdeenshire)

What did you think of the coverage? for a relatively small club operation, I thought it was impressive. The bias and heavily over-exaggerated fees our player's costs made Phil Bird sound like a war treaty mediator though.

It's Aberdeen's own coverage though so you'd expect it to be biased as the service is for their fans predominantly.

Their service was still a lot better than our attempts at live football.

Thought it was fantastic....watching the players warm up and pictures of the crowd was a nice touch compared to the usual still shot with a "coming soon" message up until as close to kick off as possible.

There was a massive delay....i heard the roar from the fanzone a good 2 or 3 mins before the stream showed Vokesy smashing it in the net

Last night was the first time I’ve had the “Phil Bird Experience”

He repeated that Tarks had been booked that many times, I was beginning to think he’d been sent off.

He stated Cosgrove shouldn’t have challenged with Pope but then said he’d expect Wood to do the same.

He was getting players mixed up - our players

I enjoy seeing the “comms cam” but I'm glad I don’t have to listen to full 90 mins every week

After reading this I went and checked on the site and it hadn’t updated for me either. So I pressed unsubscribe again and this time it worked and I got an auto generated email to confirm I’d unsubscribed and the site now reflects that as well.

I was thinking of waiting for the highlights of the second leg before unsubscribing. It was nice to have a quality stream for once.

Don’t worry, you’ll still get the month you’ve paid for. Unsubscribing just stops another £5.99 going out of your account this time next month when you’ve forgotten about it!

I tried that myself this morning and was getting the same error - just tried again now and it's let me cancel online too. Cheers for the heads up. :)

You have paid for a month so even if you have cancelled it won't cancel until Aug 26th. Hadn't thought about watching highlights of the 2nd leg.

Agree on the delay. My phone buzzed in my pocket. I got it out thinking why am I getting a notification at this time. Looked at the phone - and missed watching Vokesy strike the ball home. :(

I switched the notifications on my phone off as soon as it told me Aberdeen had scored a penalty a few seconds before I saw it being awarded!

For whatever reason I don't remember receiving this first notification. Maybe I was still thinking about Nick Pope going off...
