looks like it could be Joe Hart...Who’s going to Istanbul IF we beat Aberdeen?
I'd be interested in this if the overland isnt too expensive. Did u book TCook both ways?cricketfieldclarets wrote:I have booked flights to and from Thessaloniki- can you recommend anyone for transfers either to or from Istanbul?
Sunday. You’re flying back to Southampton I take it.cricketfieldclarets wrote:Now booked.

Then about a 6 hour drive into Istanbul.
See you there! Hope thet arrange a official meet up point as the city is so big we don’t want to be all over the place.1989_claret wrote:Tickets purchased for my old man and myself. Traveling with KLM and Pegasus.

Are you planning on hiring a car or going by bus and isn't it problematic hiring in Greece and taking it into Turkey ? What time are you leaving for Turkey ?cricketfieldclarets wrote:Now booked.

No. I'm rotating now we are in Europe. Will be resting for the premier league gamesGranny WeatherWax wrote:Sunday. You’re flying back to Southampton I take it.
I rung avis and they do allow you to take it into Turkey but you need a green card which takes 5 days. Won't have time to get that. So will most likely take a bus. There are 3 a day apparently according to a mate of a mate in Athens.Blackrod wrote:Are you planning on hiring a car or going by bus and isn't it problematic hiring in Greece and taking it into Turkey ? I've 100 percent done more dubious tripsAlanstevensonsgloves wrote:This might be the fella that CFC is looking for.....

€80 return and 'unlimited juice' to go in the spirits. Plus there's the additional promise of 'unlimited treats' once onboard.
Get the late departure from Salonika, and there and back for £200 inc flight! Plus saves on accomm x 2.
CFC you in? If so I am!
EDIT: Just to point out 2 things:
1) The bus company is called 'Crazy Holidays'
2) The travel Agency seems to be called the equivalent of Camel Cock
But it all seems above board... https://tinyurl.com/ybtqbb3o" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
What's not to like!
Have you looked at going via somewhere like Amsterdam or Berlin? Pretty sure I saw a few flights early Friday morning from Istanbul to Berlin. Not sure from then on though.MyRightFoot wrote:Good morning everyone! I am looking to fly out wednesday night/Thursday morning and return first thing Friday morning (unfortunately working a night shift Friday night, and would need to be at Blackburn hospital by 20:30) has anyone got any suggestions as to the cheapest websites for flights. I've tried sky scanner but everything is coming up so expensive. Any help from my fellow clarets would be appreciated!
Just out of interest how long is the journey and what is the cost?cricketfieldclarets wrote:For those interested in the thessaloniki route I've found one of the bus companies that do the route.
Modern buses with aircon, TVs and WIFI. Two scheduled a day. 10am and 10pm.
Could be a good option

It’s a 20000 capacity stadium and there’ll be about 5k there.Pickles wrote:May I ask how?
I know that but I asked how his mate is going to get a ticket, in the Burnley end, without a season ticket. That's the boat I'm in.Winstonswhite wrote:It’s a 20000 capacity stadium and there’ll be about 5k there.
Thats not the problem.Winstonswhite wrote:It’s a 20000 capacity stadium and there’ll be about 5k there.
You just need somebody who has a season ticket to buy you 1.Pickles wrote:I know that but I asked how his mate is going to get a ticket, in the Burnley end, without a season ticket. That's the boat I'm in.
That’s the problem, it isn’t.Winstonswhite wrote:I can’t see us selling out. It’ll go to general don’t you think?
No. Doesn't work like that.Dyched wrote:You just need somebody who has a season ticket to buy you 1.
So you reckon if go to the pick up point in Istanbul with a Clarets Number, I might maybe be okay?cricketfieldclarets wrote:There will be loads spare on the day. The clubare just ticking the uefa box by stipulating season ticket holders only.
There will be loads available. In both ends.
Im not saying it’ll work. But you’ll have a ticket. Just hope you dont get ID checked. It’ll be a huge risk with the flight prices etcPickles wrote:No. Doesn't work like that.
