Bloody click bait LMAO
Bit of a strange subject for click bait though! Only Burnley fans are going to be interested in the story so they are hardly going to get a massive amount of traffic to that article. It's not the most reliable website, i'll give you that though lol.

I really hope this is true. He would be the best signing we could make.
And by the looks of it United are about to go in for Harry McGuire. To have all our defenders locked down to long term deals would make me a lot more relaxed in transfer windows.

It may be HITC but its also Pete O'Rourke, who is credible.
Fingers crossed his information is correct.

Nope thats the thing they tend to be positive when something good happens and critical when they feel things could be going better. Just cos you happy clappers only have one modus of operandi dont presume everyone else is that weak willed

I know post 14 is sarcastic. However if we sign dawson someone is. I reckon we would get min. 35m for tarks.

So we have 3 quality central defenders. Just as we had with Keane, Tarks, Mee.
Brilliant news. Nobody has to leave, you know. We finished 7th in the Prem last season.

Wonder if SD has considered 352 particularly away. I cant see how you could leave Tarks and two Bens out. We could line up as follows
Heaton or Hart
Tarks/Gibson/Mee
Lowton/Hendricks/Cork/Westwood/JBG
Wood / Barnes
To come in when fit Defour & Brady
Possible transfer incomings Jay & a mid fielder
Subs to include Long, Lennon, Vokes
Hard not knowing who to leave out but don't forget injuries

352 here we come and it will be a good thing imo. Right side will be very interesting. Maybe a new signing. Antonio anyone? Sign him and jay and we are motoring.

Considering Dyche has never even attempted to play 3 at the back, even in pre-season friendlies, I’d put the chance of that happening at less than 1%.
It is perfectly fine to have more than one good quality player for each position. It’s a squad game and players must wait for their chance.

By the way, even those of us giving constructive criticism of the board can see the genius in signing gibson to force ben's hand. Even if he leaves now we will get double what we would have.

What about this for a thought.
Ben wants to be paid the same as the highest defender at the club, that can only be really accomplished once Sean has signed his '3rd' defender. Ben made this clear to the club last season and they accepted it and told him to be patient.
Now we have Gibson, Ben Mee can now sign a contract which he probably always intended to do once the terms were agreed for Gibson/Dawson/Mawson.
That's my hope anyway.

do we trust the source when they struggle spelling burnley.
However, HITC Sport understands there has been a breakthrough in the contract talks, and Burnely are confident Mee will sign a new deal to extend his stay at the club.

If we play 3 at the back, with Ben G taking the middle slot, will Tarks and Ben M need to speak to each other?
Or, will Ben M and Tarks remain great friends as they are now?

Would that be "Dyche counselling", dermot? With the greatest manager in the world on board, I don't think outside help is necessary.
