No Stream Thurs

If this was just a matter of TV then I would completely understand. Burnley are not an attractive broadcast proposition. But this is the year 2018 and there are alternatives to TV. Aberdeen, a club operating on 10% of our revenue, were able to offer a really nice professional streaming package that was worth the 12.99 I paid for it. I think it's an absolute joke that we can't stream it live. Sends a message to the overseas fans that despite 3 seasons in the Premier League we still have that insular small club mentality.

PNE managed to stream our pre-season game. You'd have thought that with the ultra pro media department at Turf Moor that they'd be able to sort something out to get a few quid out of the fans who can't make it.

Problem is the M6 on the way up is practically gridlocked, and the A500 diversion is getting pretty slow now also, but that's nowt compared to coming home... 6 live roadwork sections and 1 or 2 closures on the M6 south, followed by M5 closure from M6 to J6 of the M5.. Took Phookin ages to get home from the Aberdeen game.

If you could sort a temporary stop to all roadworks on the M5 and M6 for Thursday night, Gawthorpe, I will deffo be there.

lol...it is like a joke... There is also no broadcast for LASK - Besiktas game yet. Now it is TT in Twitter Turkey with the hashtag #BeşiktaşınMaçıVarYayınYok (means BesiktasHasGameButNoBroadcast)

As far as we could learn broadcaster in Austria has demanded 120.000 € and no TV channels has bought the game yet. Besiktas fans tweets "broadcast the f*cking game, give us the bank account number and we will pay"

If the Besiktas game is suspicious, Basaksehir game has less chance to be broadcasted in Turkey.

Could you not use the A49 to get home, rejoining the M5 south of Birmingham?

Well it's a new situation for the club, they've never had games where they've owned the broadcast rights, so the fact that they've never done it in the past isn't that relevant.

The club may not have expressed any intention to do it but it doesn't exist in a bubble, our fans can see what other clubs (such as Aberdeen) are capable of and wonder why Burnley can't do it.

The fact that there's a thread on here with 150+ posts suggests it would have been a good idea for the club to clear this up rather than people just speculating as to why. Also, if the club really want to sell Clarets Player, they need to be considering this kind of thing.
