Is it just me that thinks if they are so fussed, they can pay for season tickets in the relevant area and then its all sorted. Or is that too organised for them?

You missed my point about the directors box. You could 'afford' to sit in there if you had a grand in your back pocket, would you be allowed to? I think not. What about people who can 'afford' to go into a high priced celebrity nightclub but are turned away because they don't 'look' right or they are not a famous face? And if both type A and type B people agreed they want their own areas would you take away that freedom to do so because you think it is wrong? Would you destroy the whole social system of India because you don't agree with the caste system? Do you think it's fair that a person with a small income should be harshly punished for a speeding fine that may cost him half a weeks wages and a millionaire should get the same fine that frankly he would even notice paying, therefore is NOT punished at all?
What is coming across, and forgive me if I'm wrong, is that it is okay for someone to be discriminated against because they are financially worse off than someone else through no fault of their own but it is wrong for two like minded groups to discriminate against each other by common consent? Surely that is wrong isn't it?

Re your director’s box comment, they wouldn’t let me sit in the dressing room either, but I’m not crying about the lack of equal opportunity there.

Finally (for now), yes, if it was in my power to do so, I would destroy the caste system in India, because that is something genuinely discriminatory as I understand it. My understanding on this is pretty poor though, as it comes almost entirely from a novel I once read (The God of Small Things by Arundhati Roy, in case you’re interested - I’d give it a solid 4 stars out of 5)

Incidentally I do agree with you about the caste system but it seems to work for them so if that's what they want who are we to judge.
One other thing, if you like a good read about India, try Midnights Children by Salman Rushdie (actually try any of his books, he's brilliant), it's an allegory about India at the time of independence seen through the eyes of a boy who was born on the stroke of midnight on the day of independence, the two things are intertwined and are, or amount to, the same thing. A work of genius in my opinion.
