Man U in meltdown?
Should we beat Man U on Sunday, that would surely increase the growing pressure on Mourinho. It would also move us a point above them and more importantly place us around 12th position.

Out of interest, how many points do you think we'll get at the end of the season?ClaretAndJew wrote:We won't beat Manchester United

Re: Man U in meltdown?
Despite our current position (after 3 matches) I don’t think about relegation. I think our work ethic and team spirit will see us mid table (or better) come the end of the season.Quickenthetempo wrote:We need to beat relegation rivals like these at home.
I think we aim to beat all clubs and not just the weaker teams.

Re: Man U in meltdown?
I would have always agreed with this. But his approach is stupid. He has become a parody of himself. And he appears to be no longer the manager he was.theroyaldyche wrote:He will still be there at the end of the season win or lose sunday. United need to back him hes one of the best around
He doesnt get the best out of young players.
He doesnt get the best out of top class players.
He alienates big signings.
He alienates the fans.
He plays negative tactics especially in bigger games.
He is too negative in his overall demeanor.
its sad to see to be honest.
Re: Man U in meltdown?
Waiting for the post match comments off disappointed posters, Manchester United were there for taking / we should be beating the likes of Manchester United.

mourinho isn't really arsed anymore, its his 3rd season at united and he'll be looking for a pay off, knowing united won't catch city anytime soon.

Despite the fact he is a grade 10 miserable sod he is still one of the best coaches in the World. He just needs a personality injection.
Pretty impressive stat that he came out with yesterday at the post match presser.

Feel the warmth of your fellow Clarets, see the goodness in our managers heart, admire the talent at the feet of our players.
Everything will be ok, just fine. Relax.

I actually think something has been going on his private life. Ever since that physio was booted out at chelsea. All very very strange.Bordeauxclaret wrote:I’d agree with all that. Apart from it being sad to see.
Re: Man U in meltdown?
I'll be absolutely delighted with a dour 0-0. And right now I'd take anything but a thrashing.

Never forgotten or forgiven what he said and did a few years ago re the Matic and Ashley Barnes incident

Hi mkmel,
"The guy has no class." Fully agree.
BTW How's your back these days? You had an operation on it a year ago if I recall rightly.

Re: Man U in meltdown?
This could be the ideal time to play them. He doesn't seem to know what team to put out; he change it round a fair bit last night. And they will be under the spotlight and also under incredible pressure to beat us.
Just imagine what they will feel like if at half time it is 0-0 or even better, we are leading.
Mourinho's head could well explode.

Re: Man U in meltdown?
He absolutely hates not beating us. I reckon he'll have a proper meltdown if they don't batter us on Sunday.
BRING IT ON!

Re: Man U in meltdown?
Mourinho has well and truly lost his mojo; his brand of football is abysmal and he reeks of general negativity. The constant moody teenager demeanor with the press also p*sses me off, it'd be much better if he just admitted there was a problem somewhere and work to be done, instead of giving evasive passive aggressive answers to every question he's asked.
