Lots of support and chanting in JHU much more than usual.
If it was over 15K on, it's the sort of crowd we'd have been gushing about a few years ago, especially taking account of the small away following.

Some of the threads on here the past few weeks absolutely beggar belief.
We had the greatest season in my personal lifetime last year.
Not sure if it's all the new fans who supported United a few seasons ago that are coming out with all this nonsense or people with absolutely no grasp of reality.
I'm probably going to avoid this forum for a bit. It's depressing

even Chris Sutton said the fans where good. Gave me goosebumps when you all started applauding after we conceded - ******* brilliant effort from those on the pitch and in the stands

From Longside upper they looked to be packed in towards top of Cricketfield end, ie all standing so not bothered about standing in a particular spot

The atmosphere was decent enough but we really needed an earlier goal to get the place rocking .Though the chances were endless .The CFS were good though fair play to them ,but they’re so isolated it rarely carried around the ground . On corners we had half hearted “ SD claret n blue army” instead of roof raising “ come on Burnley “ Didn’t help they only had about 300 fans either . All in all a great adventure and we leave with heads held high 6 Euro games 1 defeat ( and a filthy cheated one at that )

Damo I always like your posts. Ditto above. I for one am very proud of the 11 warriors last night and the fans roaring them on. Onwards and upwards bring on Man Who!

I thought the atmosphere was terrific and the best for quite some time. It's very sad to see a thread accusing the supporters.

I thought the atmosphere was pretty good tonight and the team responded with their best performance of the season. More of the same on Sunday and lets see where that takes us UTC

I thought the atmosphere was the best for a long long time, from all sides of the ground as well, so can only assume the OP lost the volume on his stream.

Nice rendition of “We love you Burnley...” just before the end, I’ll remember the players till I’m senile for delivering European football to our club.

Thought the atmosphere was decent, if we’d have put the ball in the net the 5 times like we should have done im sure it would have been even better!

The atmosphere for Aberdeen and Olympiakos is the best it's been for years, thought it was brilliant tonight.
We don't have loads of far right banners, fireworks, or throw stuff and spit on people but if that's 'hostile' then I'll leave it. The fans got behind the team from the first whistle, the team played really well and gave it everything.
Everyone's frustrated we didn't make our superiority pay but crying like this and trying to start arguments to make yourself feel better is a bit futile. Same again on Sunday from everyone.

Also think we're in danger of forgetting how much the guys in the CFS have saved the atmosphere at the Turf. It really was dead before that and I admit to being one of those who didn't think it would work. It's not that weird choreographed stuff you get at Palace or abroad either, which is good.

When i got home from the match i watched the whole of the match again on catch up as I enjoyed it so much.
The noise on tv from the Burnley fans was incredible and at times drowned out the commentary on BTSport. Several times they remarked on how fantastic the home support was and were very complimentary about Burnley.
Was brilliant watching a rerun.you miss things sometimes particularly if the action is opposite side of pitch.Everyone in the team played their socks off (including the fans) and i watchrd both McNeil and Hendrick particularly they were both great. What a future young McNeil has if he carries on like that.Play him Sunday . . Too tired you say? Not a chance he will be chomping at the bit to play....Play Taylor at left back as well,he had a great game.

Nothing wrong with the atmosphere last night. If you need noisy support to make you play better than I don't want you at Burnley.
